About Me
I am a qualified Primary School teacher with recent experience of working with children in the early years age group. Children learn so much through play and I would ensure that the activities and experiences I provide would be varied and meet the learning outcomes of the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage). I have been childminding for 7 years and have a wide variety of choices of places to take children to.
I also have two children of my own (now at school) so I can relate well with parents and their feelings regarding their children and the care for them. I used a childminder for childcare as I wanted my children to do similar activities to what I could provide at home even while I was at work, and my children also played with many other children, attended groups and had a very positive and close relationship with their childminder, which is what I aim to offer,
I drop off and collect from two schools in Killamarsh.
My car is insured for business use and so I can access more places and activities than what is immediately available.

My Experience
I have worked in primary schools with all year groups but more so recently with Reception/Foundation Stage 2 children. I have worked in different school nurseries where I planned and facilitated a wide variety of learning activities for young children.
I also worked for three years running music classes for children to attend from ages 6 weeks to 4 years old. I worked closely with parents, carers, nurseries and members of the community as well as the children attending my group.
I have only ever worked with children whatever work I have been undertaking and all of this experience will equip me with skills for caring for children at home.I have my own two children (12 and 15) and have been childminding for 7 years.

My Fees
- Childminding from £4.50 per hour
£4.50 per hour - in line with local childminders. Between 7.30am and 6.00pm. After school children will be charged for a minimum of 2 hours.
I don't charge for trips and groups, however a small charge towards food for meals and snacks will be added to the invoice.
