My Experience

My previous employment was at a private nursery, I worked their for four years (July 2015 until August 2019) reason for this ending was due to owner of nursery retiring. Some of my duties included getting messy, building dens, going on bear hunts, reading stories, playing musical instruments and having lots and lots of fun. But also caring for children between the ages of 6 months to 5 years old, teaching them using the EYFS framework and watching them blossom.

During my time at the nursery I educated all children by following the Early Years Foundation Stage framework which includes 7 areas of learning and I would plan activities around those areas of learning to help children develop.

I also think it’s very important that children have routines and boundaries which of course would be discussed with the parent(s). If you would like me too, I would also create a diary for your child which would include information such as what they have ate, drank, sleeping times, nappy changes etc (whichever was appropriate for your child) and all the fun they have had that day, to keep you fully updated!

I have had experience of looking after two boys within their home for a family, which included drop off and pick ups from school for the older boy, references from this family are available on request.

My Qualifications

I have a Level 3 Diploma in Childcare with the grade B.

9 GCSE’s- Grade’s A* - C.

I am Paediatric first aid trained.

I have a food safety and hygiene for catering certificate.

I have a safe guarding children certificate.

I have a safeguarding children (advanced Level 2)

Recent DBS check available.

Available all day Monday - Friday.

Weekend babysitting also.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £9.00 per hour
• Nannying from £9.00 per hour (gross)
