About Me
Hi there! My name is Julie and I live in the Beeston area of Leeds with my partner of 32 years and our daughter aged 25 years. I have been an OFSTED Registered Childminder for the last 20 years. I was graded 'outstanding' by OFSTED at my last inspection. Both myself, my partner and daughter have been CRB checked. My aims are to provide a calm, friendly, stimulating and inclusive environment. I have a large spacious garden for daily outdoor play and growing seeds and vegetables. I offer outings to the local parks (Rothwell, Roundhay, Temple Newsam, Cross Flatts), library, Grasshoppers soft play gym, feeding the ducks etc. Activities include painting, play doh, music, baking, dressing up, reading, celebrating different cultures and festivals and much more! I aim to work closely with parents to provide an inclusive setting that is tailor made for your child. I am a member of Childcare.co.uk. Excellent references are available. I have a full driving license and own car with business insurance.
My Experience
I have been a childminder for 20 years and I thoroughly enjoy it. I feel a lot of my training has been with my own child and the variety of children i have had in the last 20 years. I regularly attend training webinars to keep up to date.
