About Me
Hello, I am a single mother of a 20 year old daughter. I have been a childminder for 12 years.
My Experience
I have been an Ofsted Registered Childminder for 12 years now. I have looked after children between the ages of 1 year and 10 years. I do school pick ups and care for babies and toddlers in the daytime. I enjoy what I do and have cared for children of different cultures over the years. I interact well with children and get involved in activities, e.g, I sing to children and dance, take them to the park, provide toys and play with them, and take them to playgroups where they can interact with other children. My daughter also loves the children who come to the setting. I change nappies, prepare feeds, make sure all feeding equipment is sterilized, and follow routines i.e (sleeping times, feeding times) for the baby or child as requested by the parents. I carry out any requests made by the parents. My environment is clean, i understand the importance of cleanliness and health and safety. Toys, bedding, floors, walls etc are washed regularly, and any items which could be dangerous are kept out of reach. I am first aid trained and i hold an NVQ level 3 in Home Based Childcare as well as another NVQ 3 in Children and young peoples workforce. I also hold a Safeguarding Certificate. My Ofsted Certificate and DBS form is available to view only upon request.
My Qualifications
First aid training, NVQ level 3 in Home Based Childcare, NVQ level 3 in Children and Young People's Workforce. Food hygiene certificate.Safeguarding certificate. Ofsted Registered. DBS checked.
My Availability
I offer 4 days and 3 days per week and I will consider any other requests,for example, live out nannying and babysitting My hours are 8am to 6pm and I can be flexible with the hours and days.
