About Me
Cherry Cabin Childcare is an Ofsted registered setting, rated Outstanding in September 2022 for the second time in a row.
I have a dedicated playroom with a variety of sensory resources, toys and cosy areas and I provide a range of stimulatulating activities following the children's current interests and plan fun and exciting topics that incorporate all areas of learning.
We love spending time outdoors and children take part in a range of daily activities which include sensory play, rhythm and rhyme, storytime, outdoor learning and trips to the local library, farm cafe and nature walks.
My Experience
I have been running the setting since February 2011. For the past year I have also been working with the Department for Education's Covid-19 recovery package as a childminder mentor. I am currently on extended maternity leave from childminding and have no spaces available at present.
My Qualifications
My qualifications include-
* BTEC National Diploma in Early Years
* CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Home based Childcare
* Various TEFL courses including- Teaching English to Young Learners
* Early years study at degree level.

My Fees
- Childminding from £5.00 per hour
Fees are charged at £5.50 per hour.
I provide a home cooked lunch and pudding at the supplement of £2.00 per day.
I accept two year old funding, three and four year old funding and also accept childcare vouchers and tax free childcare.

When meeting Aimee for the first time i was sure my 20 month old son would do his usual leg clinging and crying as he always does....nope. As soon as we entered Aimees home we felt at ease. I could feel the warm loving environment and all the children were happy. My son went off and loved it. That was all the confirmation I needed.
My sons first few days there were fantastic. Aimee reassured me via text and phonecalls he was fine. I was extremely upset in leaving him but felt at ease when I saw how happy my Son was to go every day.
My son loved Aimee and all his new friends he had made. He came on leaps and bounds and was always cared for to the highest standard. Aimee alwats ensured acivities were carried out in a fun way to promote learning.
I was extremely happy from everything to the daily meals my son had to his learning and play. Aimee is one of the loveliest warm and caring people you will ever meet x I can not praise her enough x

I never have the privilege 2 use Aimee as babysitter but she's so helpfull and I wish I could get her next time.. xxx

Aimee has been looking after my son for a month or so now and I would highly recommend her to anyone and everyone.
My son adores Aimee and her daughter. His days are full of activities, both at home and out & about. He loves Aimee's food and always comes home happy.
I work shifts and Aimee has been very accommodating with this, making my return to work much less traumatic.
My husband and I feel like we struck gold with Aimee!
