About Me
**Places available and open during Easter break/ April for new parents.
I am registered childminder and have more than twenty years of experience. I am working in Barking near barking tube station.
I am married and have four grownup Children. I live in three bedrooms cosy house which have big garden where children can play and do their physical activities.
My all education, trainings, courses and experiences are based on child’s education and psychology with experiences in schools, nursery and children’s centres.
I can speak English, Punjabi and Urdu. My passions are cooking, gardening, sewing and looking after children.
•I am home-based childminder and give every child one to one support according to their abilities and individuality. I provide home environment with learning activities. I examine the factors that contribute to developing young children's knowledge and skills in the 3 prime areas of learning as explained in the early years foundation stage ( EYFS ) which is uk based curriculum for young children. I develop children’s ,
1 communication and language
2 physical development.
3 personal, social and emotional development
*My workplace/ premises is child friendly, cosy and insured for work. I use Govt. syllabus EYFS and merge with private method of “ Montessori “ which is Maria Montessori theory for child development and education. Likewise I am trained and certified in Montessori method for children’s age under six.
I work Monday to Friday 8 am to 6 pm.
*Weekends on request .
** I have experience with working parents and students who are studying in college or university. I help them how they can apply childcare grants or tax free childcare. I provide childcare invoices on request
* I am not registered for funded hours childcare or childcare voucher.
*** IMPORTANT NOTE:
Parents who need childcare for their children please text me with details of child/ children age, days, timings and which date you need to start childcare. Then, I will give you tailored fee. When everything is agreed I will arrange a visit for parents with their children for 20 minutes. During this visit you and your child can view my setting and the children can meet with me as well. Once all is agreed I request you to fill a child registration form and pay some advance fee cash or bank transfer.

My Experience
. I have more than twenty years
of experience with working and teaching children in schools and nursery.
• New-born experience as I brought up my four children in a healthy and progressive way. I have more than 10 years experience of childminding.
• I worked in preschools, Nurseries, children centres, Montessori schools, and primary schools as a teacher.
My Qualifications
• MA in Early Childhood Studies (UK).
• BA Hons in Early Childhood and Special Education (UK).
• BA degree and BEd teacher training (abroad)
Montessori Diploma (A.M.I)
• CACHE Level 3
• Home-based childcare
• IT and ECDL qualification
• Business enterpriser qualified
• Pediatric First Aid trained
• Food Hygiene certified
• DBS checked , Safeguarding of children
• Full and clean driving license
My Availability
• I am available Monday to Friday from 8 am to 6 pm.
* Out of hours and Weekends available on parents request.
*childmind fee will be set according to part time ( 16 hours ) or full time ( 35 hours ) i.e more fee for less hours. Payment will be made during working days ( Monday to Friday ) Late payment fee will be applicable when pay on week ends.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
- Childminding from £10.00 per hour
Flexible & affordable prices
It depends on weekly hours i.e
Part time (16 hours) and full time (30 hours). Under three years of age fee will be more than normal fee.Ask for more details.

Had to find childcare last minute due to jury service and she messaged back to quickly. Our son struggled to settle into a community space childminders and has trived since being with Shama. She's very clean and tidy and always successfully gets him to eat and is so patient with him too especially as we're waiting to get him diagnosed for SEN and a medical condition she's never treated us any differently

It is one year Shama is taking care after my 4 and 2 years old kids and she is part of the family. My kids are feeling confident and enjoying the time with her , playing and learning new things.

I am keeping my 4.10yr and 1.5 yr old children for few months with her..My experience is amazing..I found her on right time and she is delivering fabulous service from beginning..My little one has improved and learned a lot of things which amazed me.The best thing about her that she is flexible and knows her work very well..My children love to be there all the time..I am really greatful for her undoubtful support in my hard times..

We feel lucky to have found Shama. She cared for my son few weeks. Shama is always kind, caring and towards my son. She looked after him very well. She is always punctual and showed initiative. I’m very pleased with Shama and can highly recommended her as a childminder. Thank you so much Shama, is just what I needed.

I really have no words to describe how lucky I feel meeting Shama and knowing that my little boy is with her. She has been taking care of my son since he was 7 months old and she is doing a great job. She is a professional childminder, very caring and attentive My son loves her and I feel reassured knowing that he is with her. I highly recommend Shama and I hope she will have availability in the future for my son and for my coming kids as well. We love you Shama ❤❤

My daughter loved it. She played a lot until she got tired and slept calmly.
The house is suitable for children.
If my daughter feels safe, your children will be well delivered and safe in this childminder.

Shama is a brilliant childminder . First time I have had a childminder for my son and it was great experience with her . My son really likes her and has started to bond with her . She's very professional but is brilliant has such a kind heart i would recommend her to any parent due to my experience with her with my son
