About Me
Hi, my name is Sara Coburn and I have had many years experience caring for young children and babies since 2000. I live with my husband and our cat in GLEBE GARDENS ON THE BORDER OF OLD MALDEN AND WORCESTER PARK and we are a short walk from Malden Manor train station (7 mins) Worcester Park train station (15 mins) and Motspur Park train station (20 mins). New Malden train station can be reached via the 213 bus (8-10 min ride). The K1 and 213 bus pass the end of my road and we also have very quick access to the A3 via South Lane.
About Sara - I hold a Cache level 3 in Childcare and my current Ofsted grading is 'Good'. (Please see website link to my Ofsted report at bottom of page). I keep up to date regularly with continuous professional development training and have attended many courses - please see below. I use a computer system to communicate with parents about their child's day, development, parental reviews, attendance, invoicing, photos and the children's 2 year reviews, which works well for us all, as well as daily, informal verbal catch ups and text messaging. I am also able to offer Accredited Government EE Funding for 2, 3 & 4 year olds and will extend the offer to 9 month olds from Sept 2024.
I treat each child as an individual and help them learn and develop through a range of activities following the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and provide a caring, educationally stimulating, fun home from home environment that children enjoy. I have a large garden with an extensive selection of indoor and outdoor toys, do arts, crafts and baking activities, plus we visit local parks and go on nature walks, visit the farm, drop-in groups, Garsons fruit picking farm and interact with other local childminders for picnics and outings. I provide home cooked meals, which are included in the price, as well as drop-in centres, and can possibly offer a collect/drop off service from/to your home - please enquire. We are a happy bunch and our aim is to make your child's time with us safe, happy, fun and educational.
Please feel free to contact me to chat further, then if both our criterias fit, we can then make an appointment for you see my setting and to meet us all :) Parent references available. Safeguarding, Ofsted Report, First Aid etc available upon meeting up.
