Hi and a warm welcome, My name is Mandy and I’m originally from South Africa, I speak English and Afrikaans.
I’m a proud Mom to 3 boys, twins 19 who are currently at UNI In Bournemouth, and my baby is 16 years old in year 11 and has just been offered a space and will continue his studies at Bromley FC & Ravensbourne. (All of my boys have been DBS checked too). I'm also delighted and proud to have just become a Grandmother from my Step children with my Grandson born December 2023 and Granddaughter born May 2024.
I've had the pleasure of caring for children ever since I immigrated from South Africa 24 years ago.
I offer a warm, loving and friendly home away from home, situated close to Highfield Infants and Highfield Juniors and a 5-10 min walk to Bromley South Station and the High Street . I live in a semi detached home with a lovely garden.
My Experience
My love for children started when I was 16 years old and my brother was born, I cared for him most of the time as my parents worked full time so I looked after him a lot of the time.
I first become a Nanny to two beautiful young girls and then when they started school I was asked to become a Nanny Share which was a wonderful experience.
I studied and became a Qualified Childminding when I was Pregnant with my twins and have never looked back, I’ve welcomed children and families into my home and cared for children from as young as 4 months old.
I’m sadly saying goodbye to a family (I've cared for their 2 children for the past 5 years) who are moving to Horsham over the Summer and 2 children who are heading to Secondary School in September (I have cared for them since they were in preschool and then all through their early years to now year 6) whom I will terribly miss, words can't describe how heartbroken I am to be saying goodbye to these 4 beautiful children who I have had the privilege in caring for them and watching them grow ... its been a true honour and I hope I will continue to be in contact with them all to see how they keep on growing.
I have experience with Twins, besides my own I’ve looked after twins too.

I’m a fully qualified and a registered childminder with First Aid
My Availability
I’m available for Highfield Infants and Highfield Juniors for both Childminding, full time and term time only. I am also available for Pre-school drop offs and pick ups.

Mandy has been so amazing with our toddler. He loves going to her and Mandy plans fun, stimulating activities for the children she looks after. She has a really good understanding of early childhood and child development.
My son has built an amazing bond with Mandy, she is incredibly nurturing and has the most beautiful way with little ones. Mandy is great at communicating with us, so we feel like we are in the loop with everything but also have a good idea what our little one has been up to.
Our son has multiple severe allergies and Mandy has handled this brilliantly. Not only do we know she keeps him safe but has adapted cookery activities so he can be included.
Couldn’t ask for more, she’s one in a million.
