About Me
I am married to Chris and we have 2 children. Cameron who is 20yrs old and Bethany who is 29yrs old. Chris, Cameron and Bethany both have a DBS
From September 24 due to 2 of my minded children starting school, I will have 2 spaces available for children under the age of 5 yrs. I am happy to do term time only ( I do not charge a retainer for term time only children ) aswell as term time and holiday cover.
I have a well equipped playroom which leads into my lounge giving the children plenty of space to play, sing, dance and have fun with their friends. I also have a garden which has a large climbing frame, sand pit, water tray,bikes etc.
I take time with each parent at pickup or drop off to discuss your child's day, achievements as well as any concerns that yourself or myself might have. This is a great way to help your child achieve and helps us work as a unit for your child's development. I am always at the end of my phone if a parent needs to discuss anything.
As a family we are very welcomimg and have made lots of lasting friendships with parents and children whilst remaining professional.
I also offer Free Funding for 9mth olds 2, 3, 4 yr olds
I do morning and evening school pickups from
Canon Burrows School, Oldham Road.
Our day consists of toddler groups, music and movement sessions such as, play centres ie Bizzy Bouncers, Slide and Seek, Fun Depot as well as Daisynook, parks, Tatton Park, Dunham Massey, library, farms, airport viewing area, at no extra cost
In the school holidays we have been to Sealife Centre Blackpool, Trentham Monkey Forest, Blue Planet Aquarium, Tatton Park, Seaside, Dovestones. I love to see the child getting lots of fun whilst learning and lots of fresh air.
I am also available for term time only children.
My Experience
I hold a BTEC national Diploma in Nursery Nursing ( NNEB ) and NVQ Level 3 in childcare and education.
I have worked in a couple of day nurseries and also as a nursery nurse in a primary school before starting to childminder in September 2004.

My son has been with Caroline since he was just 6 months old, and now he's 5 and still going there for breakfast and after school. She’s always provided a safe and loving place for him, with lots of fun day trips to parks, play centres, museums and loads more - all which she made sure were perfect for his age and learning stage he was at. Caroline has really helped him learn and grow, and she's always given us great advice whenever I’ve asked. I'd definitely recommend her!

After having a bad experience with a nursery, I was really nervous about finding childcare for my daughter who was 2 at the time. She’s been going for 12 months now and I can’t believe how amazing it has been for her. Caroline is the best childminder we could have ever of asked for. They do different activities every day, in all weathers and my daughter has come on so much learning her phonics and writing her name at 3. We will miss her so mchb when we have to move on, and recommend her to anyone! My daughter only attends term time but asks every day to go in the holidays and is so excited on Sunday nights knowing she is going to Caroline’s the next day

Our son has been with Caroline since he was 11 months old and he adores his time there everyday.
We were nervous about finding the right person, but the moment we met Caroline we knew we had found the best person for us as a family. The activities she does with the children everyday are varied, fun and educational and it's been amazing to see how much our son has developed while in her care. Everyday he comes home with a new skill or word learned.
The children are all friends and the older children take the time to teach and play with the younger ones which is lovely to see.
We are so happy we chose Caroline and look forward to working with her for the next few years.

Although Caroline only looks after my daughter before school she still absolutely still loves to go and loves going for a whole day in the holidays, she never wants to come home. Caroline does a fantastic job and all the kids love her

It's such a challenge trying to find the right person to look after your little one. I have older children who I placed in a private nursery when they were babies and I found this too restrictive for them.
Having had more children, I decided to look into child minders. Personally I wanted someone who would offer the little things that I do for my child, whilst I was at work. It was important for me to know that my children were offered lots care and affection alongside play and learning. My children have a lovely friend in Caroline as well as her being their carer and teacher.
In addition to this, I also wanted variety - indoor and outdoor play; play groups and little day trips; as well as relaxing 'down time' in the house watching a little film, having story time or doing arts & crafts. Caroline offers all this and more. Parents also get to catch up on all of their children's ventures in the journal that Caroline puts together for them with lovely photos and descriptions.
Caroline has looked after two of my little ones from the age of 10 months, and am so happy with the progress they have made with her help. I would recommend her to family and friends, and am very happy with my decision to choose her as our child care provider.

Aww Thank You so much. Both Lola and Zach play a big part in my life 💗 Knowing Lola is having a great time at school and was well equipped to take it in her stride makes me feel like a proud auntie 💗 When your cheeky Chaappie starts school I will loose my comedian who keeps me laughing and on my toes 🤣🤣 I will also miss the conversations I have with Zach and his Uddles. Caroline and her family have been a huge part of our lives for over a decade. She has provided care and essentially helped to raise all 3 of my children and has been a friend over a childminder for many years now.
Children in her care are raised like a family and some still have a sibling like bond, even in their teenage years. My children still have the privilege of being part of this loving and caring extended family.
I remember being unsure as to whether a childminder or a nursery would be the better option, but after meeting Caroline and seeing her with the other children, I was instantly put at ease. I haven't looked back since and that was over 11 years ago!
The early years education the children receive is fantastic and they are more than prepared for school when they start. Caroline is not someone to stay at home and as a result, the children attend many groups, centres and outdoor venues, which help to encourage their social interactions as well as having fun!
I couldn't recommend Caroline highly enough.

I love the fact that this job has given me long and lasting friendships and that I get to extend my family and be a honourable family member to yourselves and your children xxx
After losing my mum suddenly when our son was 4, we were then to find a childminder who would match up to the 5* care that my mother had given prior to her passing. Caroline came highly recommended and has since played a massive part in our lives. He is cared for before and after school and all day in the school holidays, he is eager to leave the house on time to get to Caroline's where he loves to chose an activity from the vast selection that Caroline has that I get the obligatory 'goodbye' without a backward glance as he takes it to go play. I can hands down thank Caroline for giving us total peace of mind that our son is in good hands, that he is nurtured and loved and is the pleasant and happy little boy he is because of the values, activities, days out to fun & interesting places and the teaching methods that Caroline implements with our son. I've many friends local to me who use childminders and imo I know Caroline offers the best care & package amongst them.
I cannot recommend Caroline highly enough and I tell her often how thankful we are that she is a part of our lives!

Caroline is fabulous. I thought I’d have had trouble with my daughter as she’s none stop and clingy but she’s took to Caroline really well.
They are hardly ever in going on adventures to so many places and seeing so many things. I thought I’d struggle going back to work full time but Caroline fills my daughters day with so much fun I don’t think she even knows I’m not there!

Caroline has been looking after my little one from the age of 7 months and she is now 3 years old. Caroline is a fantastic childminder who has a genuine interest in children. She organises lots of activities, visits out to various parks, zoo, soft play centres, the local farm and play groups for the children during term time and in the holidays, museums, seaside and too many places to mention. My little one has learned so much and really have a very strong connection to Caroline.
