About Me
I am 44 years old, I live with my husband of 19 years and our 15 year old son. I am located on Perth Street in Chaddesden close to Rainbow Park and the shops. I have a conservatory playroom for the children that allows for free flow play into the garden (weather permitting), the garden has artificial grass that enables us to use it all year round. In the garden I have a selection of play equipment including a small climbing frame, seesaw and a water play area.
I was a Communication Friendly accredited setting (I still follow the same procedures/ activities but I have not renewed it) and have many qualifications that are all kept upto date including First Aid, Food Safety and Safeguarding.
I am able to drop off and pick up children from Breadsall Hilltop Primary School.
I welcome families to book a visit to meet me in the setting.
As a setting we love to visit the local National Trust gardens and explore parks and Woodland. A particular favourite of the children is the farms we have visited where we can go on tractor rides and feed the animals.
We have an amazing 3 year old Labrador that is brilliant with the kids.
I offer funded childcare, currently 2 years and 3-4 years. I will also be offering the new funding when it comes into place.
There are additional fees for funded places, I charge for food, nappies, wipes, nappy cream, suncream and some outings (these are confirmed in advance and invoiced accordingly). Food, nappies, nappy cream and suncream is charged at £1 per funded hour attended each week. Any hours attended on top of the funded hours will be charged at £5.50 per hour on a monthly basis in advance.

My Experience
My experience has been gained from raising my 15 year old son and from spending time with friends children.
I have been Childminding for 8 years and have experience caring for children from 3 months to 11 years.
I am very friendly and love to see children enjoying themselves whilst they are learning and playing.
I provide a variety of activities for the children around their current interest to ensure that all 7 areas of the EYFS are supported.
I grew up in this area and have a good knowledge of places and activities that are available.

AFTER SCHOOL COLLECTION £11.75 per day including care till 5:30pm and a light snack.
NO SPACES AVAILABLE UNTIL SEPTEMBER 2026.

My Fees

I do not charge any extra for school drop off and collection. I provide breakfast, lunch, snacks during the day and after school. However there is a minimum charge of 2 hours.
During the school holidays I will be taking the children on outings, I will cover the cost upto £5 per child, over this amount I would ask parents for a contribution to the cost.

Reliable care in a pleasent environment. We have had Vicky as our childcare provider for a year and think she is a lovely person who children take to easily. We happily recommend her service to anyone.
