About Me
Hi, my name is Sarah, I am an OFSTED registered childminder and have been registered for over 19 years. I work with my husband as my assistant. We are rated as outstanding by Ofsted
We have our own 2 adult children aged 24 and 19 and 3 very child friendly dogs, 1 cocker spaniel and 2 cockapoos, and a guinea pig :)
We run a loving, warm, friendly family orientated childcare business.
Our home provides a warm, loving, friendly, safe and secure atmosphere with stimulating play both indoors and outdoors. We enjoy a variety of arts and crafts, messy play, free play, child led and adult led activities, walks, picnics and park visits.
My Experience
I have been an OFSTED registered childminder now for over 19 years.
I have 24 plus years experience of being a mum.
I have cared for children with ages varying from 3 months to 11 years.
I have special needs and Visual impairment experience, and have also taken courses on child speech development. I am continually improving my knowledge and understanding of child development including regular training and courses

I can't even begin to say how amazing Sarah is. My daughter absolutely thrived the entire time she was there. She loved being with Sarah and all her friends, and still talks about Sarah and Gary today telling all her pre-school teachers about her past adventures.
Sarah provided such a safe and happy home away from home. I knew from meeting Sarah & Gary that instantly my daughter would be absolutely fine, lovingly cared for like she was their own and I can't thank them enough for being such an important part of her little life so far.

Sarah and Gary are excellent childminders , my son loves spending time with them and the other children . The children have lots of interaction and stimulation . Would highly recommend 😀

My daughters have been with Sarah & Gary since 2021, they are the most caring, hardworking, enthusiastic and supportive childminders. My daughters absolutely adore them, would highly recommend!

My two daughters are currently at Sarah’s and absolutely love it , great childminders always out and about or even out in the garden always get picture updates and they look like they are having so much fun,
Love the fact the go for walks and go and fed the horses, or go to the park or even take the kids out when it’s wet .
My girls go In so happy and i would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for childcare

After several experiences with poor childminders I came across Sarah through a recommendation and was the best move I ever made. My daughter always has the best days going for walks where they go park and feed horses and favourite activity waving to the cars from the bridge to see how many beeps they get, trips to costa, charity shops and even MacDonald's for treats. Indoor play is full of fun activities, and she loves movie time before home time where they often get all the blankets out and cuddles with all her amazing friends. Being a fussy eater I worried about her but Sarah took the time and asked me what she would eat and has since found new favourites being there. I can talk to Sarah about any concerns and know I will be listened to. I have made a new friend in her and know she will always have a special place in my daughters heart (and mine) for truly caring for her when Mum and Dad are working which makes 'Mum guilt' less of an issue. Finally Sarah always shares photos of what they have been doing

My little one loves going to Sarah's. It's a lovely home environment and my daughter has made lots of friends too.
