About Me
Hi. I am a 3 times graded Outstanding Ofsted registered childminder. I live, with my husband, within easy walking distance of Purbrook Infant and Junior schools in Waterlooville. I offer a warm, friendly, caring home environment, where children are encouraged to learn and develop at their own pace through play. Children's interests are important to me and I have an extensive range of equipment and toys that I add to regularly . I feel that children learn best when they are in a stimulating, fun and safe environment and this refects in my practice. Children are encouraged to choose their own activities and do what they enjoy doing most, with my support. I provide messy play, role play, heuristic play, arts and crafts, jigsaws and many more activities. My house backs onto a large playing area and we have three large parks nearby.
My Experience
I have been childminding for over 20 years and I am still in contact with most of the 'little ones' and their parents. I have worked with children with special needs, newborn babies and teenage parents. I try to give each family the childcare and support that they need to be able to go to work knowing their child is having a good time. I am flexible with hours and understand that each family is different with different needs and expectations.

Auntie Sue has been my children's childminder for 18 years. I have 3 children and all of them were looked after by Sue.
Sue is flexible, dependent, fully reliable and by far the best childminder I have ever met. She helped my son through learning difficulties, my eldest daughter through adolescence and is now my middle daughter's godmother.
She is supportive of the parents and absolutely superb with the children. I would not place them with anyone else.
I could not recommend her more, if I could give her stars there would be 5+++++
