About Me
Hello, thank you for looking at my profile. I am 41 years old, and I live in Chesham with my partner and three children. I have lots of experience in caring for children, and I aim to offer a home from home, loving, warm, nurturing and friendly environment for those who come into my house.
I believe children learn best through play, I have a wide range of toys available, and a large safe and secure garden for children to play in. As well as providing a stimulating environment at home, I like to take the children out to local play groups, parks, play centres and to the library. I arrange play dates with other local childminders and organise meetings at local playgrounds to ensure children are well socialised and have opportunities to interact with a variety of children of different ages. Prior to becoming a childminder I worked in an office environment for 13 years, however since becoming a childminder I haven't looked back.
My Experience
I have been childminding for11 years, looking after a range of children's needs from aged 7 months to 13 years. I am experienced in caring for children with allergies and catering for individuals requirements.
My own children are aged 9, 12 and 16, so I have experience in supporting children through the different transitional stages of life, be it starting school/nursery or building confidence and social skills as a young toddler/baby.
I can provide references upon request.
My Qualifications
I am Ofsted graded GOOD, paediatric first aid trained, and I attend various training courses throughout the year to further my knowledge and experience. I am DBS checked, and I'm insured through, and a member of PACEY.
My Availability
I have immediate availability, from June 24, my current working hours are 8- 5, Mon- Fri. Please contact me with any requirements you may have.
I'm available for daytime care and wrap around care for school/nursery.

My Fees
- Childminding from £7.50 per hour
- Babysitting from £10.00 per hour
£7.50 per hour. I accept cash/ bank transfer or childcare voucher schemes.
I do not charge if I am on holiday or unable to work due to sickness.

My son started coming to Sian at 10 months old, he was very shy and struggled with separation anxiety and Sian made his time at hers so much easier for both myself and my son! Since then my son has really come out of his shell, he actually now asks to go to Sians house! He’s developed his speech and confidence is growing everyday, he’s developed great friendships with the other children Sian cares for and Sian has made the whole experience for not only my son but for me, such a pleasurable experience! Sian and her family are so warm and welcoming, you really feel apart of their home ! Honestly, could not recommend Sian enough !

Thank you Reann, your little one is a credit to you, he’s a very kind and sensitive child, and I’ve enjoyed watching him grow!!
Both of my children have been with Sian across 6 years from when they were babies. They have adored this setting and loved being with this family. Both of my children have been treated as if they were siblings with kindness, care and respect. Both of my children thrived here and were more than ready for their next step. The most powerful measurement is that they've grown to be happy and decent humans who care deeply for others and this is in no small part due to Sian. I cannot thank Sian and her family enough for welcoming my children into their home and making them happy and well rounded individuals. Sian is honest, positive and professional whilst being deeply caring of people a d especially children.

Sian has been an amazing childminder for my son. She is warm, friendly, caring, open and honest, flexible and extremely reliable.
My son has fit in with her family so well and he really enjoys his time there.
I couldn’t recommend her more!

My son went to Sian's for a week when I was working in her area and he loved it! She has a lovely home and adorable children which speaks volumes! I would definitely recommend Sian and use her again. Thanks!
