My Summary
About Me
I have been a nanny since March 2019 and am absolutely loving every minute :)
I have received both of my Covid Vaccinations, plus my booster jabs.
I am a mother of 5 lovely children, 4 of which have grown and left home now, and are starting their own families, all in their late 20s and 30s.
I also have one little one and he is still at home with me and attends school between 9 am and 3.30 pm Monday to Friday, he is almost 8 years old :) He has been diagnosed with Complex Tics/Tourettes and ASD. This of course gives me lots of experience in this area of childcare.
Having been a nanny, since March 2019, and along with the experience of raising my own children and of looking after friends children over the years, I have plenty of experience in childcare and children.
I have arranged and choreographed a Primary school Flash mob for my son's school's Christmas Fair recently and will do many more to come as I am also a member of the school's PTA. I have also previously worked for the Home Office in a Secure training centre for Children, helping them back onto the path of good behaviour and also working as an educational assistant within the detention centre, helping them to love learning again and achieve exams that they may not have done otherwise. I was called mum by the boys there too :)
I have bought my children up with love and fun and have taught them to love and respect all others. We are very charitable as a family and we have never had to raise our voices at one another in the home. We talk through any feelings or problems that we may have on a daily basis.
I love to have fun with the children and outings are paramount to my childcare beliefs. Daily trips to parks, the woods and museums twice a week and other fun adventures on the canal boats or Thames clippers to Greenwich are a must :)
Hampstead Heath woods are a favourite along with Highgate woods, for picnic camp building days and these are at least twice a week, depending on the weather of course.
Love, learning, respect and FUN are what I believe are truly needed, for a child to thrive and if this sounds Ok for you and your little ones, I would love to be a part of their little world, helping them develop, physically, mentally and socially :)
My Experience
A nanny since March of 2019. Having five of my own wonderful children, 4 grown into successful, educated and happy adults :) and one almost 8 year old little Angel having the time of his life :) I also worked for the Home Office, in a Secure Training Centre with youngsters aged 14 to 17 years old and was called mum by them too :) Also a member of my son's primary school PTA.

Michelle cared for our 6 month old daughter while I returned to work from my maternity leave. I was quite nervous to go back but Michelle made me feel so at ease. She immediately connected with our little one and was always keeping her entertained by playing with her toys, reading her stories or just simply talking to her in her calm and sweet voice.
Michelle also prepared food for our daughter every lunch time and made sure to keep the kitchen area very clean.
Michelle is very knowledgeable, great at communicating and very soft spoken.
I can’t recommend her enough!!
Thank you for helping me transition back into work life! Wishing you only the best!!
