Hi
I am a friendly and motivating teacher who is looking to extend my experience by tutoring. I am currently employed so I am aware and used to the current National Curriculum and calculation policy for progression in Maths. I believe in making education and learning fun and enjoyable, whilst giving children the confidence to believe they can achieve.
I use positive reinforcement and encouragement as well as a range of activities.
My Experience
I have worked in education for the past 5 years. I started out as a teaching assistant for special needs children in a secondary school. I was then soon asked to teach unqualified to a small class of low attaining children. I developed my skills and studied for my PGCE specialising in the age range of 7-14, however; I have experience across the board. I am now currently employed as a class teacher in a local private school, and I have been for the previous 3 years, teaching in a range of years in primary.
