About Me
Hi everyone. I'm an Ofsted-registered childminder, based in West Wickham. From September 2025, I have availability for before- and/or after-school care, or pre-school wraparound care, from Pickhurst Infants and Juniors Academies, and Nest Nurseries, and I live just a few minutes' walk away. I also provide all-day childcare during the school holidays. My setting is a happy, fun and nurturing home-from-home environment. We have lots of fun and laughter in my safe and secure setting and my aim is to ensure your child feels happy, fulfilled and listened to, while working with the utmost professionalism and reliability. I have a large, open-plan playroom, full of age-appropriate toys, games, puzzles and books, plus plenty of arts and crafts activities. I have a large garden with play equipment and outdoor toys and games. We love going out during the school holidays and enjoy many day trips to the local attractions Bromley and the areas further afield have to offer. I am close to both West Wickham and Hayes stations and the bus routes on our doorstep go direct to nearby Bromley South station.
My Experience
I've been childminding for nearly 18 years, caring for children from six months up to 11 years old and beyond, so I have plenty of experience, and I've also been a mum to my own two gorgeous boys for the last 25 years.
My Qualifications
• Ofsted registered; received a 'Good' at my last inspection
• NVQ3 in Childcare, Learning & Development
• Introduction to Childcare Practice
• Paediatric first aid trained
• Safeguarding: Child protection trained
• Early Years Foundation Stage trained (including Tracking Children's Development, Learning through Play and Characteristics of Effective Learning)
• I'm a member of the Professional Association for Childcare & Early Years Practitioners (PACEY).
• DBS-checked
• I attend regular training on many other aspects of childcare in order to develop my knowledge further
My Availability
I currently have vacancies for before- and after-school pick-ups and drop-offs at Pickhurst Infants and Juniors Academies, and for pick-ups and drop-offs at Nest Nurseries. I live just a couple of minutes' walk away from each. I can be flexible on days and hours, so don't hesitate to drop me a line with your requirements.

We have been extremely lucky to find Linda to look after our two children Flynn and Oona.
Linda has been child-minding our son Flynn (4) since January 2011 when he turned 1 year old. We also put our second child Oona (2) into Linda’s care in April 2013 when she turned 1. Linda looks after both children 4 days each week and for 10.5 hours each day.
Her home is always welcoming, clean and well organised and her family members are a great addition to the fun setting she provides. Linda offers a wide range of fun activities that includes periods of outdoor exercise in the park or in her garden.
There are lots of artwork prepared for all occasions from Christmas, Easter, Mother’s Day etc. and lots of colouring in when the weather doesn't allow them to stay outdoors after the school run. As well with the school kids in the afternoon Linda’s house is a vibrant environment and relationships between different age groups have been a real benefit to both our children in their personal development.
Linda is a great communicator and encourages good behaviour and kindness. When the kids are hurt or feeling under the weather, we know that they feel happy to be comforted by her.
We have been delighted with the level of care our children received and we are certain that being in such a positive and happy environment is helping them develop into confident and self-assured people.
Linda’s positive, friendly and enthusiastic nature makes our kids love to go into her setting. We have no hesitation in recommending Linda as your child-minder, she is first class.

When my children and I met Linda, I was bowled over by her kindness and enthusiasm. The children both settled immediately with her, and my 7 month old who is quite clingy at the best of times, was not at all bothered when I left the room for a second, in fact, he was really happy playing with Linda!
Unfortunately, due to our complicated circumstances we were unable to take up a place with Linda, but would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a warm, bubbly, kind childminder who is seriously organised and has a really lovely environment for children.
