About Me
Hi, I am Naomi Dobb and am a ofsted registered childminder since september 2015.
Based in the north of Coventry,
I have been graded GOOD in June2023...
Am a mother of one
Lucas will be 9 in august 2023 and
our beagle dog jessie will be 4 in september 2023...
we live in a 3 bedroom house with my husband glenn.
we have a garden with a playhouse and lots of garden equipment...
We like to have different toys out weekly to go with our topics or the interest..
I am open from Monday to thursday, 7am-5:00pm. Can start earlier and willing to open the occasional Friday...
I have a wide range of resources inside and out
I plan interesting and stimulating activities specifically catered to each individual child's needs and interests. I work with the EYFS
I keep you informed during the day with photos and message to show how much fun your little one has had during there time.
I keep children interested which with there interests is made up of the children interest from the pervious week or thing parents have added to enhance their learning though play.
Which is shared with you by whatsapp page weekly.
We also have daily walk and we enjoy the environment..
And taking jessie for walks...
We all love to teach jessie the way of the world...

My Experience
B Tec diploma in care
NVQ2 & NVQ3 in childcare and have worked as level 2 team leader with a local private nursery for 8years before becoming a mother ...
I worked in a nursery setting for 8 years being hands on being a key person for 8 key children and kept up to date with all interest and planned activities. And a team leader for 3 years over looking staff and there children too...
I worked mostly with the under 2's but was hands on throughout the nursery.

I also homeschool my own child... but I do have children that I take and pick up from a local school...
I have looked after lots of children over the years i have been open seeing them off to school and move cities and love the contact I still have with them we really do get that special bond.
we have added a fur baby to the family (November 2019) our beagle jessie will be 4 in september... she loves children and adults. She get very excited on greeting but I have gates to help this situation... she is never left with the children on there own (I.e when I pop to the loo)... she loves to play along side the children and have a great bond with them all... new children will be gradually introduced... children are encouraged to help care for jessie and train her she loves the interaction with all children and am sure she thinks she one of them...

My Fees
- Childminding from £5.00 per hour
Fees include
snacks, cold/warm lunch ,milk & water.
7:00- breakfast (cereal, toast, fruit)
9:30am-snack (fruit and biscuit)
11:30 lunch (pasta, sandwiches, jacket potato soups and hotpots)
3:30 snack (crackers, pancakes, scones)
Parents are asked to provide any
formula milk,
nappies,
wipes
cream
£5 is ask in summer to help to the cost of sun cream for the whole of the summer...
Hourly rate:£5 per hour under 5
(non school children) and full contract children
Hourly rate : £6.50 per termtime and school drop off/pick up
extra hours out of contract can be added at normal hourly rate on a one off basic
(if have space)
Bank holidays-closed but no fee
Parent/child sickness: Full fee

Settling in sessions: to be agreed on meeting
Late payment fee. £20 per day
Late collection fee: £10 per hour(£2.50 per 15 minutes)unless agreed beforehand.

Nay Nay was a life saver when I was looking for childminder I was a worry about using childminder as I always sent my son to nursery but I can honestly say Nay Nay change my mind completely. My son had behaviour problems and needed to reduce he hours at nursery Naomi helped me out so much and helped Connor become who he is today and he’s now at full time nursery. She always made Connor feel welcome and at home , She’s has a lovely son and dog who Connor got on so well with would definitely recommend

Thank you so much for this Sarah... connor was a part of our family and we enjoyed having him even for the short time we did glad to help and get him back to his full time nursery place...
