I’am pleased to announce that I have just had my first Ofsted inspection and have been graded OUTSTANDING


Hi my name is Angele Harrison. I am a married 42 year old mum of 3 school age children. I have daughter 20 and two sons one 13 and the other 16 years old. We live in Prestwich close to the tram station, we have lived here for the past 20 years and are so lucky to live in such a lovely area. Both my boys play for their local cricket club and local football team we also like going out on family bike rides and outdoor activities.
I hold all qualifications required by OFSTED, cache level 3 childcare, paediatric first aid, level 2 food safety, and safeguarding children 3 & 5. I am fully DBS checked as is my husband he is also now registered as my emergency back up assistant.
I have now been childminding for just over 6 years and have enjoyed every minute of It, i have just had my first inspection and received an outstanding grade for my setting. we attend many different playgroups, the park our local farms, trips to the Clough nature hunting pond dipping, lovely long walks in the fresh air. My setting is home from home. I love to do lots of outside play we have an allotment so lots of muddy outside fun learning about nature, planting, growing and looking at where foods we eat comes from ( not Tesco ) we spend may hours in the allotment it is a beautiful open ended learning area and the children get so much out of it. We have a small but lovely child friendly garden that we spend time in.
Im also a little addicted to arts and crafts and messy play. We do lots of learning through play and in everyday activities. I work closely in partnership with the parents of the children that I care for in my setting, And i feel over the past few years I have gained lots of extended family.
we also have a pet dog Brian, cat indi and tortoise named Dave the children help feed him and on the odd occasion give him a bath.
