Hi my name is Georgie, im 30. I am a friendly, responsible person who thoroughly enjoys working with children as well as building a relationships with the whole family. This shows in my career choice as I am a neonatal nurse and have been working for around 8 years.
I can help assisted with assisting new mothers with advice and support on caring for a newborn.
Child care support with older siblings if required to allow the parents to have some precious one-to-one time with their newborn.
Support you with bathing your baby, bottle sterilisation, maintaining the nursery and laundering the babies clothes.
I happy to provide relief when baby is having disturbed sleep, allowing the parents to have some rest.
**please bare in mind I cannot be a full time nanny or provide set days**
My Experience
Throughout my career as a nurse, I have been exposed to working with children on all ages.
My primary interest is around newborns as demonstrated in my career path as a neonatal nurse.
This requires me to be up-to-date on advance life support and safeguarding at all times.
I attend yearly training on breastfeeding and expressing.
I am also a mum myself.
Occasionally I care for an 8 year old who has complex needs and her sister who I have taken out on day trips.
I hold a full UK driving licence and own my own car.
I'm a non smoker
My Qualifications
GCSE'S - English, Maths, Science, History, Geography, ICT
A Levels - Health and Social Care, Applied Science, Communication and Culture
BSc Hons Degree in Children's Nursing
My degree has given me the training in first aid and child/adult resuscitation.
I have done extra courses at work enabling me to specialise in newborns, high dependency infants, breastfeeding/expressing, home oxygen and NGT feeding.
I hold a current CRB disclosure.

My Availability
I work shift patterns but will have availability weekdays, weekends and school holidays. I know my shift patterns 4-6 weeks in advance. Don't hesitate to contact me and ask questions.
