About Me
I have worked in childcare for near on 40 years. I am fully qualified and within the Early Years sector have held a variety of positions.
These being: Early Years Practitioner - NVQ assessor/tutor - Family learning officer - Consultant - Children Centre Programme Manager - Nursery Manager. DBS last 2018 - registered with up date service.
I have am trained from 0-16 years and have spent majority of my working life with 0-8year olds.
I have 4 children aged between 21 and 34 and in September 2015 I became a grandmother for the first time (even thou I'm still young he he). I now have 3 grandchildren (2023) the youngest being 10 months.
Personally about me: Friends describe me as: Friendly, happy, young at heart, outgoing, sociable, reliable, honest, trustworthy with a passion for my knowledge and understanding in Early Years.

I have worked all my life in Early Years near on 40 years now. I have worked in the maintained sector (council) Private and voluntary.
My Qualifications
NNEB NVQ Early Years level 3 and 4 ILM (Leadership and Management) level 4 and 5. EYPS assessor, C&G 7307 adult teaching,
Makaton training, Language and literacy training
throughout my years I have undertaken a number or short or in-house courses keeping me up to date with current thinking and developments and standards.
My Availability
Available for part time childcare, currently care part time for my grandchildren. This is a mix and match during weeks. Grandchildren have always been around with other children I care for, offering play friends and social interaction.
