Absolutely wonderful!

Lauren is wonderful, both as a childminder and generally as a person. I have always felt confident leaving my son with her, and he adores the time they spend together. From the initial enquiry, Lauren quickly and thoughtfully answered all my questions, and gave us the opportunity to visit her lovely home. Unlike other childminders we met, Lauren sat on the floor with our son, engaging and playing with him, whilst chatting to us. It was an easy decision picking Lauren and I’m so glad that we did.

The activities that she plans for our son and the other children are entertaining and diverse, indoors and outside, giving him lots of opportunities to develop skills and learn/experience new things. A daily diary is updated, and photos sent, so we can see what he has been up to each day and how much fun he is having. The thing that I particularly like about Lauren though is the affection she clearly has for our son, and the fact that she knows him; she knows what he likes, and also what he needs to improve upon and plans her activities accordingly. She makes suggestions to help us help our son at home but without doing this in a judgmental way, and just wants our son to flourish. I have absolute confidence to say that our son has thrived because of Lauren and her care.

To any prospective parent considering Lauren for your child, Lauren is definitely the right choice! My only hesitancy in recommending her is that she will have no spaces if we have another baby!

Thank You Lauren

My son started going to Lauren’s when he was 11 months and then by the time he left for nursery, my daughter started when she was 11 months.

As my daughter prepares to start nursery in September, I can honestly say after 4 years, I am so sad to think that Lauren will no longer play a huge part in our lives.

Lauren has always been approachable, flexible and thoughtful. The daily photos I receive of their adventures are the highlight of my day. Each day it’s something different and always fun!

Both my children have always had such lovely things to say about Lauren’s family and not forgetting Friday the dog!

The children always have a nutritious, home cooked meal with plenty of healthy snacks.

We have been very lucky to have Lauren in our lives and I can’t thank her enough for everything she’s done.

Excellent professional and person!

Our daughter started going with Lauren when she was 11 months old and stayed until 3 years old. We would have left her under Lauren's care for much longer, maybe until Reception, if we hadn't had to move abroad for work reasons. Lauren is a very loving, nice and thoughtful person with children and our daughter adores her. She literaly wanted to go and be with her every single day (even on the weekends!) and during all this time she has been a super happy baby/girl with Lauren. The activities Lauren offers are always funny and stimulating (going to parks, playgrounds, todlers groups... and crafting, baking, dancing, and loads of reading), and that included special visits to Alton Towers, Manchester aquarium, farms and other similar trips to learn about animals and the nature. From all of these activities, we have being receiving photos and reports in a diary on a daily basis, so communication between parents and the carer has been always great, and she's also quite flexible regarding timetables, which has been great. The meals Lauren offers are very varied and healthy (and I am extremely picky about my children's food!) and the snacks are plenty and nutricious as well (loads of fruit always available). Lauren is likewise very respectful with the parents and she has always wanted to be engaged with our home languages and cultures in order to understand better our daughter. Our child has also improved her English very fast because of being with Lauren. On top of that, Lauren has even built an excellent relationship with my son (who is at school age) just by him coming with me sometimes to pick his sister up. Lauren's family has been also a great environment for her, including Friday the dog, and she loves them all. I highly recommend Lauren for every parent without any doubt.

She's an amazing lady!

My son has been going to Lauren since he was 15 months old for 18 hrs per week. He is 3 next month and will be ready for his next venture to nursery in September, all thanks to Lauren. He has come on in leaps and bounds since being with Lauren and his development with his speech has improved too as he has a slight delay. I think that his time spent with her and the other children in her care has helped so much with all areas of his development. We get sent photos of his day whilst we are at work and he is always having a great time whatever they end up doing. I've never had a worry or any concerns about anything which is worth it's weight in gold. He loves going and says he wants to go when he's not, which isn't a bad thing 😂. Meals are all healthy and nutritious and snacks are in good supply too. We love looking through his diary at the end of his day which Lauren fills in to let you know what's been eaten, what they've been doing, how he's napped etc which is very helpful too. We will all be very sad to leave Lauren in September as she feels like a big part of our lives at the moment. You will Not regret choosing Lauren to look after your child and i have nothing but fantastic things to say about her to everyone. I'm sure we will visit her, whether she likes it or not, after he leaves in September!

Truly outstanding!

My daughter has been coming to Lauren since the age of 2. From the outset, Lauren was warm, approachable, inclusive and nurturing. Her main priority is the children in her care; this is evident through the positive relationships she creates with not only my daughter, but all the other children that attend. Lauren without a doubt provides the most outstanding, enabling environment, where learning though play is paramount. Bella is consistently displaying notions of new learning after being at Lauren’s, her number recognition and love for reading has flourished through her time with Lauren.
Communication is excellent and I am consistently on Bella’s journey of the day with her, via pictures, messages and Tapestry. Bella is always stating her adoration for Lauren and her family, and is forever talked about in our house!
Lauren provides delicious home cooked food which is nutritious and reflective of supporting a balanced diet. She moreover provides proactive, consistent outdoor learning which Bella adores.
Moreover, Lauren is always flexible and accommodating which has been so amazing during Bella’s time with her.
I cannot stress how amazing Lauren is and how much my daughter and myself love her. If you are considering sending your child here, please don’t hesitate. Thank you so much Lauren for everything you do! X

Lauren is the best!

My daughter started at Lauren's when she was a year old and is now nearly 4. We will be very sad not to see her every week when Lyla goes to school. Over the 3 years we have known Lauren she has been a part of our family. Our daughter loves her and really enjoys going to Lauren's (she tells us this every morning). We love Lauren too! She is flexible, accommodating, friendly and gentle. She always listens to our requests/needs and adapts to suit our family. The children are all loved and looked after to the highest standard. Delicious home cooked food daily. Outings to fun places. Crafty/creative days. Lots of reading. Playing outside. We love receiving our daily photos to see what she has been up to and how much she is enjoying herself. We really landed on our feet with Lauren and feel blessed to have her in our family network.

The best childminder!

My daughter absolutely adores Lauren, she enjoyed every minute of the day going to Lauren’s setting. Lauren did lots of Learning, learning through play, having lots of outdoor fun and so many different activities my daughter loved. Lauren also took them on days out and they had so many different fun adventures maisie always talk about still now. I can’t thank Lauren enough for the help and progress she made while in Lauren’s care.
Lauren is really flexible to your needs and will always try to accommodate you the best she can.

Maisie really misses going to Lauren’s and I am so thankful to her for everything in the time my daughter spent there.
I absolutely recommend Lauren to care for your children, she really is amazing!

Outstanding!

Lauren has been the childminder of my 2 daughters.
My eldest arrived at England at the age of 2 not speaking the language and not used at all at the weather/culture... Lauren was an immense help on her settling process!!
She took the effort to learn some Spanish vocabulary to adapt to her better, she understood the complexities of her needs and was more than capable of fulfilling them. All this as well as keeping in mind her development.
I will always remember when we met Lauren when I was interviewing several childminders that during the interview she not only spoke and pay attention to me but foremost she was interacting with my daughter... " I need to interact with her ...I have to have an idea of she could settle with the other children... though I'm aware you are Mum and I need to listen to your needs, my client is your child, and her needs will always come first " I absolutely love that view!!
Lauren offers to children environments with such great stimulation! She keeps in mind areas for development and makes the effort to look and create opportunities to develop them. I love that she has so many outdoor activities.
Lauren has been very open minded, with high acceptance of cultural differences, and always managed to find common grounds despite our sometimes so different views.
I love her passion for her job.
Lastly, still my eldest has so many fond memories of her... Still asks me to go and visit (she's 9!)
Having your children with her is a decision you won't regret.

Fantastic childminder

Lauren is just an amazingly good childminder. She was recommended by a colleague from work. My 21 month- old son was looking after by Lauren for two days during Christmas period (when my son’s nursery was closed). My son enjoyed those two days so much with indoor and outdoor activities and fun.He settled in very well with no problem. He was warmly welcome by Lauren. I was worried that he might struggle in the new environment. He can still Laren ( he said she is his childminder 😄). We are pleased to know Lauren. I would highly recommend her. I would have sent my son there if I did not work full time.

Simply Amazing!

We’ve known Lauren for just over 4 years now. Our daughter started in Lauren’s care when she was just 11 months old and was always so happy to go. They had so many days out and adventures with her. Holly is now 5 years old and still loves going to Lauren in the school holidays. Lauren teaches so many invaluable skills and makes it fun and enjoyable for the children, she definitely has a great talent!
Our son is currently in Lauren’s care and enjoys every day he spends with her. His development is progressing well and I am thankful to Lauren for her involvement in this.
Charlie’s day at Lauren’s is always so varied, they spend time doing a number of activities which could involve exploring the outdoors, singing groups, softplay, farms, adventure trails, parks and many more. Charlie always enjoys craft work with Lauren as she has some fantastic ideas.
Lauren is a lovely person and has become a very important part of our family.
She is always there to offer help and support and is full of useful hints and tips to overcome challenges such as potty training etc.

I can’t recommend Lauren enough! She is an amazing childminder and anyone would be lucky to have their children in her care!

Fantastic childminder

Both my daughters have been with Lauren for 3 years now
My little one (3 years old )full time and my elder (7 years old )after school and on school holidays.

It’s difficult to appraise all her wonderful characteristics in a short review here . No word could really represent the top quality of her professional behaviour and caring attitude.

Lauren is very well experienced and organised , she pays attention to individual child’s needs and interests .
She is very keen to do lots of our door and indoor activities with kids which all are really helpful in promoting their developmental status .

She provides a clean, tidy and cheerful environment for children and offering fresh yummy foods with lots of fresh fruits and vegetables snacks . All of these are essential in developing a good eating habits in kids from early ages.
She helped a lot with my little one potty training , with out her it was impossible for me to manage this big step in my daughter’s mile stone.
Lauren and her family are very polite and encourage kids to have nice behaviour and attitudes.

Lauren is very flexible and this is of great help to me and my husband who are working as doctors in a busy hospital .

Lauren family are all nice and do their best from their heart to make their home a safe and happy place for children.

My daughters always miss her and family during holidays and are counting nights to see Lauren again.

I’m really thank full to Lauren for all her great supports and efforts she has been putting in looking after my daughters.
We always remember her in our heart like a very important close family member.

We have been very lucky to have Lauren in our life.
She is an outstanding childminder. Lauren gifts parents much more than a valuable peace of mind that every parents need when they leave their kids to go to work . And she looks after children in her warm hearts.

Lauren the life saver

Lauren stepped in to take care of my son George in very last minute unforeseen circumstances and her flexibility has been a life saver.
George has had the best time while being looked after by Lauren! He always comes home with an exciting story to tell about where they have been and what they have done that day. I've been really pleased with the variety of activities that they do, from crafts to adventures outdoors at the farm, parks, woods, soft play areas and the list goes on. The greatest thing about Lauren is that she gets stuck in and makes things fun whilst also making them educational. Lauren has really helped with Georges number recognition! Lauren makes her setting a home away from home and within only a few days I could see George becoming happy and comfortable. He's loved playing with her great collection of toys and even more so loved reading books with Lauren. There's not anything I would fault, I know I can go off to work safe in the knowledge that George is happy, having fun, learning new things in a safe and loving environment. What more can a parent ask for?

BEST choice!

Lauren is just fantastic all round. Reliable, honest, kind, caring, extremely supportive and was certainly the best choice for my daughter. Peggy has been with Lauren since she was 2 years old. Lauren has great experience, patience and is super organised. Peggy’s development has come on massively since being in Laurens care number recognition, pen skills, physical abilities - they spend a huge amount of time doing extra curricular activities, muddy puddles, adventure play along with lots of brilliant crafts! Lauren has a firm but very fair approach which keeps Peggy knowing exactly where she stands with a great routine. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Lauren to anyone.

The best thing to happen to our young children

Both of my children were looked after by Lauren and she has quite simply, been amazing. There was rarely a day, weather permitting, that they didn't go out somewhere and explore. Parks, castles, woods and every other environment that engaged my kids both mentally and physically. She has been endlessly flexible to our employment needs and when our circumstances changed, she delivered our child home to save us having to collect her. In an ideal world, my kids would have stayed little and been able to stay with Lauren for ever. They both utterly love her and it was a very sad day when it came time for them to move on. I can't recommend her enough.

Excellent!

I couldn't ask for anything more from a childminder, lauren offers everything a nursery would but on a smaller more personal basis. She has plenty of information and suggestions too if you're feeling a bit lost as a first time parent such as problems with sleep routines etc..
She treats the children absolutely amazingly, loving and fun but firm when required.
My kids have been to so many great places, they've been on regular picnics, walks in the woods, museums, farm parks etc.. they absolutely love it! She doesn't just take them to the closest play group, they go out and do real activities that are great for development.
They also love being at Lauren's house as there is plenty to do there too.
Lauren has tailored her care to the needs of our family and the children for which I'm really grateful.
We very often walk in to the smell of something lovely cooking for lunch and the kids always have a fruit snack so you don't need to worry about them getting good food, they never have beige 'childrens' oven food, it's always a good balanced meal.
I'm certainly glad I didn't just settle for the closest childminder I could find. Lauren has been great and has added another dimension to my children's lives. They love her!!

Fantastic, best childminder out there :)

Lauren is a fantastic childminder, she looked after my little girl and I honestly cannot speak highly enough of her. The activities are always well thought out and planned, food is always homemade and healthy, water and healthy snacks are always provided and my little girl is extremely fond of Lauren. She is highly supportive of parents and very flexible too. Unfortunately for us we've had to say goodbye to Lauren as I now have a little boy and she doesn't have the space for them both. When we first started our search for childcare we knew that Lauren was the childminder for us as soon as we met her, meeting others only confirmed that for us. I'm now back to searching for new childminders and I can confirm that Lauren is most definitely the best out there :)

Childminder

My Daughter has been cared for by Lauren since she was 11 months old, for 5 days a week. Unfortunately for us, the time has come for her to leave Lauren for reception class in september. Over the last (almost) 4 years I have seen my daughter grow into a lovely little lady......and there is no doubt what-so-ever that Lauren has played a massive part in this. Not only has my daughter had the pleasure of having such a supportive person in her life.....I also have too. She is there when you need her, always flexible with hours and nothing is ever too much for her. 4 years is a long time, seeing someone everyday and trusting this person to look after your child. This was the best decision I ever made. Lauren will literally do all she can to provide the best service possible and to suit your child's individual needs.
All food is home cooked, with lots of variety too including fresh fruit snacks. Lauren has ensured my daughter has had the best start ready for school......she can write her name, knows her colours and shapes and has a good understanding of the sounds of letters. Lauren's support has been second to none.
The children also have a great time out and about. Rain or shine. (on rainy days muddy puddle jumping is a must - wearing the appropriate attire of course) They visit local soft play areas, farms, parks, trips out to Stafford park, Westport lake, Tittesworth reservoir, and many more places on a regular basis. There was even a trip to a theme park. :)
You couldn't ask for anything more for your child.
I can honestly say it has been an honour and a pleasure knowing Lauren. We are going to miss her so so much.
I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND her to anyone who is looking for a childminder. xxxx

Fantastic :)

Lauren has been a fantastic child minder for my son for the past 3 years. Her level of flexibility, responsibility and genuine care toward both my son and myself has been most appreciated.

My son has had a whole host of wonderful experiences from regular trips to the farm, soft play, National Trust venues, the park to more unusual trips to the beach and a theme park! He often brings home pictures and things he has made too. He has enjoyed playing with a wide variety of toys, books and dressing up equipment. They have mini discos, lots of stories and even yoga!

I have asked him what his favourite bit about going to Lauren's is and he replied 'discos and playing with trains!'.

Both my son and I will be very sad to leave.

No.1 Childminding services!

Lauren and Carl ticked every box for us in our search for a child minder and we couldn't have been happier with our decision to send our little boy to them for 4 full days a week. They offer a home from home relaxed environment with games, education and complete involvement for the children. There is interaction at all times and TV only goes on a little at the end of the day, which we love. Lots of outdoors activities and arts/crafts and making too. All food is healthy, home-cooked and balanced and they rarely stay in with visits to parks, museums, castles, and socialising with other child minders children which has brought my sons speech and social skills on so much. Lauren and Carl will work with you if you ask them for example they have broken my son of his long lazy nap in preparation for big school in September with no fuss at all and have encouraged him to engage in some messy play and singing which he held back from initially. The daily diary has been great and its the first thing we do when we get in at night is have a read and discuss what he has done that day. They have never let us down with availability and have been very flexible when I've had to ask for extra days care when I've done extra shifts at work. Aside from all the practicalities, Lauren and Carl clearly know their stuff and are sensible, friendly and lovely people. All the children they look after are friends and I get quite envious of their little group as they go off for the day, and we go off to work :( Do not hesitate to choose them, we couldn't recommend them highly enough, Our little boy loves them both to pieces and cannot wait to return each morning which is frankly their best advert!

SO HAPPY

I come from Spain, my little one had to adapt to a new country, new language, new house, new everything... and been with Lauren has help her in so many ways!
Lauren has been kind, lovely and with a lot of patience for her. She has offered to my daughter that secure, tranquil, stable and loving environment that she needed in this period of our lives.
I just have words of gratitude for this great childminder!

fabulous!

Lauren has been my daughter's childminder since she was 8 weeks old, she is now 18months old and I am still extremely happy with the care Lauren provides. Lauren was the only person who I felt comfortable and confident leaving my very young child with. The children do several activities both play and educational. They also have walks to the local park, library and other activity areas. The food provided for the children is varied, fresh and healthy. I very highly recommend Laurens child minding service :)

Excellent Childminder!

I have used Lauren as my childminder for my daughter since April this year. She was 8 nearly 9 months old when she started and now is 15 months. She has come along in leaps and bounds since being with Lauren. She socialises a lot better with other children and generally has developed well. Lauren provides a safe and secure enviroment for all children and does lots of different activities with them; including soft plays, going to the farm, to the parks etc.

Lauren is a fantastic childminder and I would fully recommend her, she is flexible and i truely feel my daughter is in good hands being with her.
