About Me
I live in a mid terrace house, with one room converted into a playroom, I have a large LG with a range of activities for learning opportunities, I also attend daily playgroups and soft play centers, farms, parks etc
I live 5-8 minutes away from regular transport links to and from Croydon and London, with a variety of trams, buses and trains to choose from as well as being surrounded by 6 primary schools.
I have been described as a happy, reliable person, originally from Ghana. In my household I live with my two adult children, two cats and one goldfish.
My Experience
I was a foster carer for seven years, I have since been childminder for four years had two Ofsted inspections where I achieved 'Good' in both.
I attended a range of courses throughout the year such as, COVID-19 training, Safeguarding level 2, Food safety-hygiene, Senco Speech Language and Communication for Childminders.

Doris has looked after my boy since he was 11 months and has always been flexible around my work schedule.
Looking after him during the Covid years and having to keep to the restrictions, she still managed to keep him entertained ( not an easy task) once restrictions were lifted she took him to toddler groups and other outings to parks, farm etc.
She even adapted her meals to my sons food requirements while still encouraging him to try different options.
Doris was recommended to me by my friend after she looked after my godson.
I’ve been very happy with her service and I know my boy loves her, I get the feeling that she see’s him as part of her family.
I’m sad we will be leaving in September as he is starting big school.
Although we will still visit regularly.
