Excellent childminder

My daughter loved going to Evette house after school. She enjoyed the learning and playing with the other children. Evette took pictures to keep us updated on what the children were upto.

Great childminder!

Evette looked after our son and daughter between the ages of 1-3 and also has had our eldest in the school holidays. They all love spending time with her and we can relax knowing they are in a safe, loving and fun environment. They have all thrived under her care. She sends updates and photos throughout the day and their days are full and fun. We feel very lucky to have found Evette and would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for quality childcare for their children.

A wonderful, beautiful year and a half!

We found Evette when our little boy was just one year old, needing some part time childcare, full days. It was a hard choice, but Evette made it so easy from day one. Our little boy LOVED her (and still does), they formed an immediate bond and he was happy to be dropped off in the mornings and was always very happy when I picked him up, a sign of a great day had! Evette really listened to us and to our little boy, finding fun games, toys, books and activities she knew he would love and would thrive with. Evette taught him a lot over the year and a half, all about colours, numbers, the body, nursery rhymes and shapes. They went out to parks, playgroups and picnics and he was always fed so well and never came home hungry or upset. We would receive many updates, photos and videos of our little boys day, which was a highlight of our day! Our little boy has made great friends at Evette's, we really felt like he was part of her family and her ours. It was a very special time, thanks to her hard work and caring nature, which we are forever grateful for.

Both my children attended Brightstarz. As a new mum, I was worried about going back to work after my maternity leave. I came across Evette Johnson and got in touch with her. Evette was very warm & welcoming. My daughter was 8 months old when she joined Brightstarz. Evette became a second mum to my daughter and provided her with everything. She made sure that I wasn't left out and sent pictures & videos of my daughter's progress. My daughter attended Brightstarz until she was 4 years and my son later joined when he was 10 months. The kids have days when the would attend the library, parks, baby groups & even museum. My children love and adore her. Evette Johnson is a professional and the BEST at what she does.

great experience

I contacted Evette a week before I needed the childcare and luckily she was available. My 7 year old stayed 2 days with her and he loved it. Always smiling and happy, she made us feel very welcome. I will definitely use her services again if needed. Evette took a lot of photos to send to me to see what he has been up to during the day and he definitely had been having fun. We highly reccomend Evette.

Warm, caring and great fun!

Our son has really blossomed here. Plenty of toys, singing and laughter. But as well as fun, great attention is paid to his individual needs and interests. Our son looks forward to going and we are so thankful to have found her.

great childminder

We needed some one to look after our son, Lucas, after nursery several afternoons a week, and Evette was able to provide this flexible care. She is very smiley and warm, and clearly loves children. She offers lots of fun activities to help stretch and teach the children new skills - and she meticulously logs their learning to share with parents. She is very knowledgeable about the Early Years Foundation Stage and, although the children wouldn't know it, her activities are all geared towards helping them to develop and grow. Our son was very happy in Evette's setting, and we felt lucky to have found her as our childminder.

Quality and warmth...

Our 2 and half year old son attends Brightstarz Childminding. From our first meeting, we found Evette to be genuine and warm, qualities we most desired in finding substitute care. We can see that her caring disposition and her carefully planned routine of activities have helped our son’s development and given him a new confidence socially.

Evette is always available and interested to discuss his development with us (she keeps detailed records with photos) and we appreciate her input and experience as both as a trained childminder and mother herself. But it is in seeing our son brighten at the mention of going to Evette’s that is the true recommendation of the caring home away from home that Brightstarz offers.
