About Me
Hello! I have 2 vacancies for September 2024 as they are leaving for nursery. work Monday to Thursday’s from 8am to 5pm .I have been a registered childminder for 15 years and live in West London (W10) with a large garden which has artificial grass. It is enjoyable and safe for the children to play. I have had my inspection November 2023 and graded Good in all areas by Ofsted.
I am a mum of 2 daughters and 2 grandsons. I live with my 17 year old daughter and her father.Both have DBS for my address.
I am very involved with other local childminders .This is great for the children to make friends. We use local parks such as Queen’s Park gardens & Playhut/Meanwhile gardens & Holland Park/Queens park/Brent . Visit ZSL monthly as have yearly pass . Also local libraries .We visit Natural History Museum and Science Museum regularly and activities each morning and afternoons and use garden to play .Potting plants and Vegetables/Salads play football and Mud kitchen /buggies and messy play.I have always been a very clean person prior to Covid-19 . I keep a very clean environment and toys for the children and myself.
I plan activities for the week/Month and celebrate faiths/cultures and British values.In the afternoons after lunch/nap time we go local parks.I have water play and lots of toys and ride ons . Messy play inside and outside and ball games; there’s lots to do .We do lots of arts/crafts inside and outside.Reading and music time also. I also provide healthy snacks/fruits. Parents are asked to provide meals. I have no pets. Local buses include: 6, 18, 228, 316, 28 and the 52.452 .Under 10 minutes walk to Kensal rise station , Queen’s Park , Kensal Green.
My Experience
I really enjoy looking after the children/babies and give them lots of praise and encouragement.Build their confidence through play and have fun .I have great references and current parents to speak too.

I have 2 vacancies September 2024 between Monday to Thursday 8.00am to 5pm . I keep my setting small so I can look after the little ones keeping the little ones happy and safe and my own family and high standards of hygiene . Learning new activities and having fun times for all ages .Toys and equipment are washed daily if needed.I do not work on Fridays.No school or nursery pick ups or drop offs. My Fees
- Childminding from £9.00 per hour
My fees are £8.50 per hour. I work weekly from Monday to Thursday. 8am to 5pm. I do not work on Fridays and do not do after school pickups.

Maxine is such a wonderful childminder that goes above and beyond any other I viewed. Maxine looked after my son from the age of 1-2 years old. Sadly we bought a house so had to move which was such a shame as he was so happy at hers. Maxine ensures the children she looks after have variety in both the mornings and afternoons from forest schools, sports, playgroups and arts and crafts. My son has struggled at a previous childminders but settled really quickly at hers. She was very supportive and attentive of him and we received a detailed diary entry every day. I can’t recommend her highly enough!

Max looked after our son Jack from the age of 5 months until he turned 2 and she still does during school holidays. She is brilliant and makes so much effort to do fun, interesting things everyday - so much variety! She really cares about her children and invests in their development as if they were her own. Her setting is so well equipped and the garden is great plus the kids go out with her at least once a day. We would recommend Maxine to anyone as a wonderful person to take care of your child.

Your an amazing family and so enjoyed looking after jack , how he has grown such a confident little man . He’s so gentle and caring around smaller children and wow the conversations we have had and he’s not even 3 yet , the excitement he gets when we have seen a rubbish truck or diggers posing for photos. I have known Maxine for 7.5years and in that time she has looked after both my children. First my son, who is now 8yrs, and then my 3yr old daughter who joined Maxine when she was 1yrs. You couldn’t find a more dedicated, professional, caring and engaged childminder than Maxine. She takes the responsibility of looking after children very seriously. I like that she chooses to only look after a few children at any one time, so she can always give proper attention to those in her care. She is constantly stimulating the children and teaching them new things whether with music and singing, reading to them, imaginative play, arts and crafts, outdoor play, and trips to local parks, playgroup activities and libraries. Whilst I’ve seen many childminders over the years at drop-ins or parks disengaged on their phones, Maxine is always the one in the sandpit or down on the play-mats playing. She also helps children’s development. She helped both of mine with everything from learning to court to understanding their emotions (sharing etc).
She does all this is a fantastic home-from-home setting. She has a lovely house with a great garden, and she makes your child feel a part of her super-lovely family. Both my children adore her! She is really affectionate, gives lots of hugs, whilst having a calm authority, helping little ones learn right from wrong. With all her experience, I have also found Maxine incredibly supportive and helpful, whenever I've asked for parenting advice (esp the first time around as a new mum)!
If you are looking for a childminder, and you’re lucky enough to find she has availability, you really couldn’t find anyone better than Maxine. She’s amazing! The best!

Maxine looked after our daughter from 7months old until 2years old, 3 days a week. She taught her nursery rhymes, colours, animals and numbers. Encouraging learning in all areas whilst always giving her praise and confidence. We still keep in touch to this day. She gave our daughter a great start in life and ensured that my husband and I could go to work without any worrying about our baby. We knew she was in very safe hands.
