About Me
Hi I am a ofsted registered mum of 3 girls, Aged 17,16 and 12
We live in South Ruislip with their dad, my husband!
I take the children to playgroups and soft plays most days, where the children get to have lots of fun and socialise with other children of a similar age. We do lots of activities at home including messy play/ painting/ play doh which all the children absolutely love. We also love going to the many local parks and we love a picnic.
I provide a secure and loving home from home environment where the children can learn grow and build on their confidence.
My Experience
I have been working as a child minder for just over 5 years now and have recently had my first Ofsted Inspection where I received a ‘good’ I have mostly had the same families since I started and have fantastic bonds with both families and parents .
I have lots of other experience with children from my sisters children to my neighbours and of course my own.
I worked in a nursery in Ruislip called 'Woodlands' where I was the cook and made all the delicious food for the children aged 2-5.

My Availability
I have before and after school spaces available for children attending Deanesfield Primary School term time only.
I have a space for an under 4 child starting from February 2024 Monday to Thursday . It will be term time only.

After struggling with previous childminders I couldn’t be happier to found Karen. She’s welcomed my little boy into her home and loves him like her own, she keeps me updated throughout the day with pictures and also does a diary so we know what times he’s eaten and slept. Karen has always gone above and beyond to make Theo happy taking him to numerous soft plays, play groups, cinemas. I don’t have a bad word to say against her! Would recommend to anyone who’s lucky enough to get a space.

I can not recommend Karen enough. The care she provides my children is outstanding. They have been welcomed into her home as part of the family and gained 3 new sisters in the process. The thought of having to leave your children to go to work is sometimes unbearable, but Karen loves my children like her own and I am reassured that whilst they are in her care , she gives them all the hugs , time and nurturing they need. There is no better reassurance you need than your children asking to go to Karen’s and crying if it’s not their day to. Thank you for loving my children the way you do. We are so lucky to have you.

I can’t recommend Karen enough. She treats my little girl like one of her own. Nothing is an issue and she brings her out and about which I love. Karen’s family love my little girl and she constantly talks about them. There’s nothing more reassuring than knowing your child is well looked after when you have to work. It’s extremely stressful leaving your child with essentially a stranger when you return to work. Karen made this easy as she constantly sends me pictures and videos to keep me going during the day at work. These are lovely to see, but were especially comforting at the beginning. Thanks for everything you have done for us, Karen x
