About Me
Hello there- My name is Katie and I run a home from home setting called Oak tree childminding.
I am a mother of two girls who love other children, they are 7 and 3 years old. I like to think I am very laid back happy and welcoming. I have previously worked in day nurseries as a baby room leader, I then went onto nannying for a lovely family in Hertfordshire where I used to bring my eldest daughter along with me. When we had our youngest daughter my fiancé and I decided to move back to Surrey to be closer to our family.
I am an OFSTED registered childminder and can offer full and part time spaces from our home in Ash vale.
I accept the government funding from 9months - 4 years and will be happy to discuss this with you.
My eldest daughter attends Holly lodge primary school so I offer drop off and pick ups from there. Our youngest attends a local pre school but is with us during the day on her days off. We are lucky to live within walking distance of the school, local parks, the nature reserve, Canal and toddler groups.
We love to do messy play, enjoy the garden and mud kitchen, we have a playroom where we enjoy playing together and having fun with music, dancing, small world toys and books.
Please note I do not work Fridays.

We've known Katie for 7 years as she was the nanny to our 2 children. She is a wonderful nanny and brilliant with children. She is calm, patient and fun. She showed a huge amount of love to our children and they really miss seeing her. Katie is able to flex according to different ages of children and has lots of ideas to keep them entertained.
We would highly recommend Katie !
