About Me
I am a qualified Early Years Teacher and I have developed my setting to be a place where young children can play, explore and learn within the comfort and security of a real life home. This is particularly important for young children and those who are coming to a setting for the first time.
The children particularly love our pets....Pluto, Buzz and Hebe the pygmy goats, our rabbit Max and our two English Bulldogs.
We have a huge garden and we never miss an opportunity for outdoor play and learning.
We follow an approach to childcare that I call ‘natural simple childcare’ which I have developed in over 10 years of Childcare practice.
My Experience
Over ten years of experience. I have cared for hundreds of children during that time.
My Qualifications
I hold a 12 hour Paediatric First Aid Certificate. I am qualified as an Early Years Teacher and have a degree in Business Studies. I am trained to Level 3 in Safeguarding.
My Availability
Spaces available for children in the Early Years (not in full time school). The sessions we offer are 8.30am to 18:30pm on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, all year round (except when we close the setting for our annual holidays). My Fees
- Childminding from £5.00 per hour
The full day adventure £50 per day on (08:30am to 18:30pm)
Sunrise session £25 per session (08:30am to 13:30pm)
Twilight session £25 per session (13:30pm to 18:30pm)
You may be eligible to have 3 x 5 hour sessions a week funded in term-time by early years funding for 2, 3 or 4 year olds or you may be entitled to the full 30 hours funded during term-time, if your child is 3 or 4 and you are an eligible working parent.

Our 3 girls have been with Emma now going on 5 weeks and from the first moment we met her we knew instantly that she was the one!! The girls adore her and her family also Brady the dog :) they always seem so happy and chirpy and have so much to tell us about they say when they come home,everything Emma does is amazing and I love the diaries she does with pictures it gives me and lee all the information we need on what the girls ate,what they did today!! We are hoping to stay with Emma has long as we need her :) so thank you Emma.

My two girls have been with little caterpillers since it was first opened. Emma is fantantsic with the girls. The children have planed activitys each day from walks in the park to going on day trips. I have other childminders in the past who have just sat and watch the girls with no interaction. Emma is compleatly diffrent it is like a breath of fresh air.The weekly up dates by email to show our balance also to inform us of what the girls have been doing also what the girls have been eating.This such a help to now how much the girls are eating so I can make sure as a parent that I am still in the picture when I am at work.Emma is great at making sure that the activtys the girls do are to match the girls like's and dislike's. Emma asked me if I would Like her to help the girls with thier home work. This is a great help as busy parents the home work was never done on time.Emma also makes sure all massages from school are passed on.In pervious exsperince of childminder's things ofton never got passed on. Also Emma is very felxiable i.e my hour's were changed for one week and Emma was avable to have the gilrs at sort notice's. Over all Emma was born to be a chilminder. The girls love it so much they complan when they have to leave early to come home.I would say to every parent send your children to little caterpillars
