About Me
I live with my husband ,we have two grown up daughters,2 golden retriever dogs we have had them both from puppies and they enjoy the children’s company and are very tolerant of them but are never left alone. I have always had dogs during my time as a childminder and have always put the children’s safety first.
I offer a friendly fun loving home from home environment keeping the children safe and active with various activities throughout the day.
We attend library times Plus play groups , walks in our local woods , play parks and other places in our area of interests .
Working within the EYFs frame work I encourage the children to explore new ideas.learning through play has always been my ethos .
I started childminding 25yrs ago and still enjoy doing my role as a carer and educator .
I am able to do nursery run and school pick ups and collect from a school in the area .
Pre schools and other nursery I would be willing to help with depending on location and times
When I first started childminding I was crb checked by LA who hold my CRB document
My husband and daughter have both been DBS checked these are available to view on visits
I also offer a home visit if parents feel this is better for their child to meet me in their own home .
My Experience
I hold a level 3 NVQ in childcare and developmen . And never have had a,dull day as children certainly keep me active .
I hold all the certificates in first aid .food hygiene
Allergen.fully insured both public and car.
I have experience with epilepsy.

Jenny is currently my daughter Bonnie’s childminder and started in her care from September 2023.
Jenny makes nutritious meals and plans fun, educational crafts and activities with the children, and follows EYFS topics.
She does indoor and outdoor play with visits to the library, park, playgroups etc.
Jenny sends me photos of Bonnie which is so lovely and puts my mind at ease knowing she’s safe and enjoying herself while I’m at work.
She teaches the children in her care good manners and kindness to others which I think are so important.
Jenny has a generous, loving heart and I would recommend her as a childminder to anyone.
