About Me
My name is Ela McHendry/Klimaszewska ,i am 46 years old, I have been working as a childminder since 2010, I have been living in the Cambuslang since 2018 I covering Cambuslang and East End of Glasgow.
I have completed 2 years of English language courses and after taking those i completed my NC and HNC Early Education and Childcare at Anniesland college.
My Experience
While attending college i worked in a nursery environment where i've gained lots of experience with children whose age varied from 3 to 5 years old, i am also experienced in taking care of much younger children ( 0-2 yrs old and 2-3 yrs) and additional supports needs children.
My Qualifications
I completed my NC and HNC Early Education and Childcare at Anniesland college , the Induction for Childminders course and Emergency Paediatric First AID,Child Protection, Food Hygiene,Triple P.
The skills and experience that i have allow me to build a great bond with the little ones ( verbal encouragement, face expressions, body language, appropriate tone of voice- it all matters ).
I do provide a secure , safe and enjoyable environment for children.
I always have a full day of activities planned ahead so the child is busy the entire time( but i also listen to what the particular child wants to do on a certain day and i try to fulfill his or her needs and i try to develop the child's interests and talents as much as possible which i think plays a vital role in creating the child's feeling of independence e.g sensory and imagination, arts and crafts, water and sand play and constructions materials.
I am a very organized , punctual and loving person who enjoys seeing children develop and learn in an enjoyable and fun way.
My Availability
The hours I work are 8am - 5pm, but this can be more flexible if needed
I provide a care service for a maximum of 6 children at any one time under the age of 16, of whom a not more than 3are not yet attending primary school and whom no more than 1 will be under 12months.
