In this past year as self-employed I have acquired a contract with an alternative education company as the role of Learning Mentor and a contract with a local charity as the role of Family Support and Help.

Throughout these contracts I have accomplished many certificates and attended many courses regarding Health and Safety around children.
I hold a Level 3 Forest School leadership certificate.

Update from September 2023
Currently sole trader as F.I.S.H (Fran's Independent Support and Help). Happy to help as and when if time allows.

Previous household experiences,: Mentor for young child aged 10 dealing with anxiety issues. Mothers help for 2 & 4 year old and an after school pick up for 6 year old girl. In additional to this I've worked in several nurseries as an early years practitioner.

Presently, until end of October 2018 I'm working for a lovely family with 2 boys. Ages 2 and 4. References are ready available. I'll be available to help out any family needing childcare help from end of October. Pref near EX8.

2 children ages being 18 months and 3.5 years old. Tasks included getting children up in the morning, breakfast, assisting them with wash and teeth wash. Walking them to preschool and mini gym for little one. Lunch and preparing super. Bath and ready for bed. Amongst that having fun and keeping them both happy.

I build positive professional relationships with children and young people who have complex needs and have often experienced significant difficulties in previous education settings, my aim being to inspire young people to achieve their goals
1:1 sessions. I enjoy the opportunity to work with students and show them how amazing learning can be as learning can take place anywhere the student is engaged, safe, motivated and encouraged to discover, and it is my role to show them. My knowledge and experience with SENse Learning CPD increases with each student in my care with dedication to helping people.

In my role as Educational Mentor I delivered planned learning through a range of creative and interest based activities.
I have an understanding of the importance of emotional regulation and can implement strategies to support/model this appropriately.
I have detailed knowledge of how to work in a trauma informed way.
I follow the guidance in each person’s individual risk assessment/student plan to support them to manage their anxiety and behaviour in a positive way and to keep them and others safe.
I utilise a range of strategies in supporting the range of additional needs required to regulate the student.

I consider myself as patient, supportive and enthusiastic embracing the opportunity to use my creativity and initiative to provide accessible education content tailored to individual needs.

I have the flexibility to travel across the community with students as I hold full driving insurance and own my own car.
