About Me
Local female businesswoman with two amazing boys, aged 9 and 8. We moved to Harrogate in December 2023 and now live just two minutes’ walk from the town centre.
My Requirements
Housekeeper and Part-Time Nanny (Live-In Preferred)
I’m a professional businesswoman raising two boys on my own. They attend a local private school, so I’m looking for someone to work three days a week to live-in from Tuesday/Wednesday to Friday—with one long weekend per month or every six weeks. Longer weeks may be required occasionally if I need to travel for work.
The role includes:
• Mornings: Helping with the boys’ routine and school drop-off. Giving me a break and rest while you are here
• Daytime: Housekeeping, cooking, baking, cleaning, tidying—and time for yourself the gym, the local town or just enjoying the house and garden
• Afternoons/Evenings: School pick-up, taking them to tennis academy (twice weekly in the summer term), or collecting them after sports clubs (until 4:30pm) from school.
Support there education needs homework, reading and learning in general.
The house is spacious, relaxed, and always warm and welcoming. I work from home at times and will support you at the start, although I’m often out for sports, interviews, or meetings.
Key Details
• £15–£20 per hour
• £50 per overnight stay
• A car is essential—petrol will be covered for trips and days out
• Travel abroad and holiday opportunities may be offered
• Nutrition and healthy eating are vital, as my 9-year-old has Type 1 Diabetes. Ideally, you’ll have some experience with diabetes care, but training can be provided
• Both boys live with me full-time
About the Boys
They love the outdoors, farms, animals, surfing, skateboarding, arts and crafts, books, cinema, pizza, and being active. They’re polite, well-behaved, and have a great bedtime routine. My eldest also has ADHD and ODD as well as being diabetic, so someone patient and supportive of his needs is important.
What I’m Looking For
I want someone to become part of our family—someone warm and fun who will light the fire, play music, and enjoy life with the boys.
