Short term childcare for disabled teenage girl
My Requirements
Hi there this is short notice but we have been left in the lurch!
My daughter is sixteen years old so slightly older than most kids on here but has learning disabilities and complex needs.
She is a happy, fun loving girl who just needs a befriender or buddy to take care of and help keep her safe and go out in the community during the summer holidays particularly in the first week (29th June until 5th July).
She uses a manual wheelchair to get around outdoors but she is very small and not heavy to push! She loves her iPad and uses this to assist with her communication as she struggles with speech.
She enjoys shopping, cinema, cafes and sometimes going on train journeys to Perth!
She has a great sense of humour, laughs a lot and doesn’t really have any behaviour issues. You don’t need a car as she likes to go the bus.
You must have a valid and recent PVG certificate and be able to provide a quick reference as we need someone so soon!
