About Me
I have been a registered childminder for 19 years looking after children of all ages. I am registered with SCMA and SCSWIS. I have a public liability insurance certificate, I'm also registered with disclosure Scotland and certified in first aid and food safety. I also have the necessary car insurance so i can transport children in my car. I'm hard working, reliable, patient and more importantly i love my job and love having fun with the kids in my care. I have two grown up children of my own, both have left home. I am also a gran to a gorgeous little boy. My home is clean, warm, safe and smoke free.I have safety gates, smoke alarms, heat detectors and carbon monoxide detector. I also have two cats which the children love. I also help run a successful baby and toddler group in the local community centre with lots of toys , games , activities and messy play and help run a outdoor nature themed play area called muddy boots which has also been very successful. I recently became a bookbug session leader.
My Experience
With being a childminder for 19 years and having 2 children of my own who are now adults, I can say i have had a fair bit of experience working with children. I have had a number of children over the years ranging from different ages, stages and backgrounds. The youngest being 3 months old.
