My Summary

My Experience

I have worked in a nursery since 2012 whilst finishing my last year at university. I have worked with all ages from birth to 5 years. Before leaving to have my own child I worked in a room with 2-3 years old and really enjoyed watching them learn and develop through play. I then worked part time at a nursery on a one to one basis with a special needs little boy with cerebral paulsy. I have a speech and language award which helps me to support any speech development delays and first aid trained. I have become a team leader and third in charge at nursery with safeguarding lead. I now work on a therapy farm for autistic children and children who struggle to fit in a school setting with very different needs. I have a good SEN knowledge and happy with all kinds of animals.

My Qualifications

I have a Ba (hons) in early years education which I studied at the University of Bedfordshire. I have 2 A levels in health and social care and also have my GCSE in maths English and science. I am Peadeatric first aid trained. Recently done a course on promoting communication and language in children . I am also behaviour management trained and food hygeine. Also have designated safeguarding officer training. Special Educational Needs.

My Availability

My daughter is starting her third year at school now so will be available school holidays as long as my daughter is okay to come with. Can do after 4pm most days.
