About Me
Hello, thank you for visiting Buds and Blooms Childcare's home page. My name is Priya and I am an OFSTED registered childminder with an enhanced DBS check. I am rated GOOD by OFSTED after a recent inspection.
Teaching is my passion and I love educating children. I have previously worked in schools and nurseries for many years. I provide a lovely home environment with a nice garden for children to learn and grow. The setting is located near Newbury Park central line tube station. It is a pet free and non smoking environment. I enjoy working with children of all ages and able to provide early years education in a home setting focusing on each child's needs.
I believe in continuous professional education and I am a member of the Professional Association for Childcare and Early Years (PACEY).
My Experience
I have over 20 years of experience working with children at various nurseries and schools. I consider it to be a privilege of supporting children in their formative years and help them flourish. My educational qualifications include Level 3 in Childcare, Diploma in Montessori method of education, Childminding, Paediatric First-Aid and Safeguarding.

My Availability
I offer a flexible childcare solution to parents from Monday to Friday during term times. Subject to availability, I also provide cover during school holidays.
I provide breakfast club/school drop-off as well as after school pick-up and care service.

My Fees
- Childminding from £6.50 per hour
The fees start from £5.00, depending on services required such as school pick-ups. I offer sibling discounts too.
Free childcare (15 hours per week and 30 hours per week) is available for eligible children.
Childcare vouchers are accepted.

I am extremely happy with the care Priya provided. I had initially taken my son to an outstanding nursery and was very much worried about kids safety and happiness there. Then I moved my son to Priyas' and I feel fortunate to have found her.
My son has stranger anxiety and could not settle in the other daycare I initially sent him to. I am extremely happy with the way Priya helped my son overcome the anxiety and build his confidence. He needed a lot of assurance to settle and Priya made sure he felt safe.He received the same care and attention like at home. My son asks about going to Priya during holidays which shows how happy he is there.The place is very clean and safe for kids.

Priya is the best childminder ever! We initially enrolled our 3-year-old daughter with Priya for after-school care due to her discomfort with traditional daycare. Priya’s home-like environment was a perfect fit. She was always punctual, ensured our daughter was well-fed, rested, and engaged in activities she loved. Priya instilled lifelong habits and manners in her.
Even after 5 years, our daughter lights up with joy whenever she stays with Priya. Priya’s sincere attention to every child provides absolute peace of mind, knowing they are safe and happy. Our second child also thrived under her care since he was 1 year old.
Priya is a true blessing. Our kids blossomed with her love and care. We can’t recommend her enough. You’re truly fortunate if you have Priya to care for your child!

She is an excellent childminder. When it comes to caring and teaching useful tips to child in their way, she is the one to go for. My child had learned quickly cause of her excellent way of teaching and i was surprised almost everyday after seeing the progress. Her teaching will definitely bolster your child growth. Would highly recommend her if you are looking around for a childminder.

Once after lockdown we were in search of new childminder for our daughter. And YES we weren't disappointed.
Priya is a very nice person who takes care of our daughter like we do at home. She understands her needs and provides best care to her. She always cooks what my daughter wants and my daughter enjoys her food there in nursery.
Also Priya focus on what a child need to develop/learn when they go to school and teaches them accordingly.

Priya is such a loving and caring person and we were very fortunate to have found her for our daughter. Before going to Priya, our daughter Niveditha went to a private nursery and she was not comfortable in that nursery. I was about to resign from my job to take care of our daughter before we came across Priya and we thought we would give it a try. Luckily for us, that turned out to be one of the best things that happened for our daughter. Priya is such an awesome person that it did not take more than a week for our daughter to get super comfortable with Priya.
In addition to being happy and enjoying her time with Priya, we also observed that our daughter showed significant improvement in her studies and also other activities such as drawing, crafting etc. Our daughter's confidence and manners also improved a lot. Priya takes extra care about food and hygiene and our daughter always praises Priya's delicious food. For our daughter and even for us, Priya is like a family member and just bringing her name in a conversation will bring smiles and happiness in our daughter's face. Priya is also very flexible and always accommodates our requests. We would highly recommend Priya to other parents.

I can discribe Priya in one way - Angel.
Erik loves her very much. She not only take care of Erik but she treat hime like a son. My son didnt want to come back home from Priya. Our family is so sad that we must leave Priya but we are changing the school and Priya is no longer able to take care of Erik. You will be missed a lot. 3

Priya has been fantastic Childminder for our son who loved her right from day one. She is very professional. The first thing we noticed in her home is the environment she provides for childcare is very clean and safe. We would definitely come back to you Priya once our family routine is set. And I highly recommend her services for any parent looking for a safe and caring set up.
