About Me
Hi, my name is Amy Whysall, I am 27 and I live in Darley Abbey with my partner.
I have worked as a teaching assistant at Lakeside community primary school in Alvaston for the past 7 years, I absolutely love my job and children are my passion.
I'm currently studying at Derby University part time alongside my role as a teaching assistant to become a primary school teacher.
I am friendly, reliable, patient, professional and hard working.
I am able to offer babysitting services in the Derby and surrounding areas. I am willing to work both weekends and weekday evenings.
I also offer phonics tutoring for children aged reception to year 2. I have a strong knowledge of Read Write Inc.

My Experience
Previously I worked in nurseries for 5 years and have a sound knowledge of children birth to 11.
For the past 7 years I have been working in a primary school as a teaching assistant.
Over the past year and a half I have been helping families with evening and day time babysitting in my spare time.
I have experience working with children who have additional and complex needs.
My Qualifications
Foundation degree in Children's and young peoples services (May 2017)
Level 3 NVQ in Children’s care learning and development (July 10)
Currently studying part time at university towards my teaching-due to complete (May 2019)
First aid (April 16)
Peg training (July 15)
Food hygiene (May 14)
Safeguarding children (August 17)
I hold a full clean driving licence (Nov 09)
My Availability
I can currently offer babysitting 4:30-late throughout the week, however I would consider overnight stays, school holidays and weekends.
I am very flexible and can take last minute bookings :)
During the school holidays I am available for childcare throughout the week and can offer days out and in home care.
I am available for work within Derby and the surrounding areas however can drive so will consider Nottingham with additional costs.
