About Me
My name is Becky, I am a mum of four grown-up children. I have been married for 30 years, and my husband is registered as my assistant.
We have lived Maryport for 7 years in a semi-detached house with an enclosed garden.
Childcare is offered from 7am to 6pm Monday to Thursday, 48 weeks of the year. 1,2, and 3 year old funding is available. I am not available on weekends or for overnight care, and I do not do school runs. I have been registered since January 2015. My husband and I hold current paediatric first aid and DBS certificates.
It is my passion to encourage the children in my care to develop and grow. I run a very home from home environment with lots of nursery rhymes and stories. Baking, messy play, crafting, and the good old outdoors.

Becky at Jellybeans is a real life angel. I will be eternally grateful for the care, love, joy and enjoyment she showered my son with.
Becky was my son’s childminder from baby (only months old) right up until he started full time Reception at school. I write this review on the second school term of the year, and there is not one week that goes by that he doesn’t ask “please can I go to see Becky”. My son adored his days with his childminder, and built an amazing bond with both Becky and her husband. They will always hold a special place in our hearts.
My son grew, learned and developed leaps and bounds thanks to the quality of care provided and he is growing to be such a clever, polite (and super cheeky) boy and a lot of this is down to the quality of care he received at Jellybeans. The setting is lovely and small, so you know your child will have plenty of time focused solely on them or in a little group, and you feel at ease knowing they won’t get lost amongst a big crowd of children. The smaller more personal setting was a huge perk for me and it is probably why my son and Becky have that unbreakable bond. I honestly felt like I was dropping my child off at a relatives house for the day, as in the end it felt like a family.
Outside of the setting there were plenty additional activities for the children. The garden area speaks for itself, with swings, climbing frame, mud kitchen and floor level trampoline. Additionally there were little trips out to soft play for example, or walks/adventures which were always the most enjoyable and very often came at no additional cost. & Vinnie was ALWAYS coming home with gorgeous home made baking, or arts and craft projects that they’d been busy making in the day (the flapjack was a firm favourite in our house).
To summarise:
• The prices are amazing
• The people are even more amazing
• The setting is personal
• There’s plenty to keep the little ones busy
• You will not be disappointed, in fact you’ll cry when it’s over

We have used Becky for around 2 years and she has been an absolute super star. I can't thank her enough for the help and guidance she has gave our children. She has helped us at the drop of a hat without any hesitation. My children have loved every minute with her and she has become part of our family unit. She will be extremely missed. The children are always kept busy and active when in her care. Her home turned into my children's second home, her whole family made them feel very welcome. Millie loves crafts and has never been dissapointed. My little boys adored her husband and they bounded very well and Jonah loved his company.
Best childminder we have ever used and she will be sadly missed.

Me& my daughter have known Becky for about 1& half years now.
My little girl took to Becky straight away& she always enjoys her time there.
Becky has a lovely way with chidren, very natural& she genuinely cares about the children in her care. My daughter tells me all about her day& is always full of enthusiasm. I enjoy reading her communication diary that Becky fills in every time she goes.
Becky has been very flexible& she will go out of her way for you. She really is lovely& we will miss her dearly as she is moving but we will definitely keep in touch.
Your children will be safe& happy with Becky& cant recommended her enough.

My children 2yrs & 4yrs old absolutely loved Becky from the start which was very reassuring. She is very calm and encourages them to explore using all kinds of materials wether it is to play with or make something crafty the kids love it. I have no worries sending them to Becky’s as I know they will have a fantastic and interesting day!
