Highly recommend - born to be a childminder

Lindsay was born to be a childminder. My now 2yo was taken care as if she was part of the family, and developed so much when compared to other set ups (nursery).

I'd highly recommend Lindsay :

- the children are all taken care of, with food prepared everyday, with a good balance of veggies, fruit etc child's hygiene is perfect, never had any issues with nappies, or noticing the face not being clean after lunch time etc. The children are taught how to be safe outside (example holding hands when going outside etc). Whenever there was something for concern (like a small fever, or the child becoming unwell), Lindsay would immediately communicate with us to agree on what to do
- the activities they do are diverse and age appropriate. If the weather allows it, they'll do activities outside, like going to the animal farm, going to the park, going to the library, going to the discovery centers, soft play etc
- the activities are often themed: mothers day, fathers day, pyjamas day, world book day, world (insert animal) day... Honestly, the amount of thought and preparation Lindsay puts into them is astonishing
- you get daily updates. Every day we would get pictures of the activities and a report on what our child did. Lindsay would also comment/praise when the child did something new, or accomplished something
- good manners are also taught there: my daughter started saying and signing "please" and "thank you" and "sorry" - she still does it and is quite cute
-the children become best friends for life. Good relationships are fostered and they develop a cohesive friendship

I could go on, but I'll finish the list by saying that I'm very thankful to have found Lindsay.

On a personal note, Lindsay and her family are good people. Good hearted people. Her kids are good mannered, kind, sweet and super caring with my daughter. Lindsay has a heart of gold, and truly cares for the children. She'd still check in when my daughter was ill, just to see how she was getting on. Even now that we are in Portugal, we still communicate as they were such an important part of my daughters life.

The Best amounts the rest

Lindsay is a kindhearted, loving fellow, I was really very happy when I met her. She taught my daughter a lot of things, parent with her and overall she has nurtured her like her own child. Her place and the environment is home away from home and every child feels comfortable, as I see the smile on their faces when I go for drop offs, and so many times my daughter prefers to be with her than come back home. Thank you for all you do, you are a superstar, one of a kind and a living legend. We will miss you. I hope and pray I find someone like you in the new environment.
