Welcome to "MMAs" House (pronounced Mema) renamed by my minded children where Rainbows are made and Stars Shine!
My name is Emma or MMA by the kids. I am OFSTED REGISTERED Rated GOOD. Level 3 Qualified with over 19 years experience.
I work with my assistant Shannon level 2 qualified currently doing her level 3.
We are a FRIENDLY, BUBBLY team who always welcome new faces into our group. We aim to be as reliable and flexible as possible. All DBS checked. We are all First aid trained, safeguarding Trained and Emma has level 3 Senco training.
Currently taking on ages 10 months to 5 years. Term time.
Age 10 months to 9 years During Holidays
Our setting is aimed very highly on outdoors. We now have a new playhouse in the garden where children can go to get warm or play if they ve had enough outside. We have many different activities we set up around our garden to make it inviting and fun! We also use our main house for our meal times and when we need some quiet/sleepy time or just to relax. We are still very home from home and follow the childrens wants and needs.
We aim to provide high quality childcare where the children feel safe and happy. We aim to make children's time with us fun and enjoyable and as well as offering a range of activities and things to do whilst here, we will also take the children on outings to parks/walks on a weekly basis. If here during the holidays we like to arrange some special trips.
Animals- I own 4 cats and a Rabbit and Guinea-pig. They are all very friendly and used to being around children.
My Experience
I am registered as a childminder, but have worked in many day nurseries and have over 19 years experience in childcare. I have experience working with all ages from birth to 12 years. As well as newborn experience since having my own sons.

My Fees
- Childminding from £6.00 per hour
Tuesday 7.30am-5.30pm
Wednesday 7 30am- 5.30pm
Thursday 7.30am-5.30pm
Friday 7.30am- 4.30pm
£6 per hour
£3.50 for lunch (full days meals included if not funded)
Extra costs
£2 a week towards extra activities, baking resources, outings
Past 5.30pm message me Extra half hour £3.50
*Minimum of 2 days per week 6 hours min charged.*
Hours can be arranged to suit your needs.
Funded Hours Minimum of 15 hours
Extra hours £6 per hour
Meals £3.50 lunch or cooked tea, Snack tea £2
£1 Breakfast cereals/porridge, weetabix
£2.50 Snack of toast/pastry/savoury items like crackers and selection of fruit

Emma provides fantastic childminding service. She is kind and carrying and kids love her so much. Emma is very helpful and positive person . She does a lot of activities with the kids and always provides healthy meals. It's a great overall service .

Emma is fantastic. Highly recommend. My daughter loves going there she is welcomed with open arms everyday by both emma and her husband steve. And made to feel at home. My daughter is a bit shy and takes time to take to someone normally. I could see she was relaxed and very comfortable and being herself pretty much straight away. Kids are a good judge of charecter and my daughter loves emma. The hours i work are unsociable too and she is always happy to adapt and be flexible and nothing is ever too much touble. Been a god send really!
