I am a 28 year old Events and Marketing Manager, based in London. I recently took a short career break to travel around South America. I am now back in the UK and waiting to begin my next role in September. In the meantime, I am looking for babysitting jobs. I have lots of flexibility and happy to help with any babysitting you require!
My Experience
I have experience babysitting children aged 1 to 14. Throughout my 7 years of babysitting I have carried out a range of activities and tasks, including:
Cooking breakfast, lunch and dinner
Helping with homework
Sporting activities (such as swimming, tennis, football, trampolining, etc.)
Taking the children on trips (such as parks, museums, shopping, etc.)
Indoor activities (such as painting, arts and crafts, games, etc.)
Cleaning up after activities
Getting children ready for bed
Putting children to bed (often reading bed time stories)
During the summer of 2016, I was an Au Pair in Barcelona for a 9 year old girl. We went on various trips around the city and developed her English language skills through games and worksheets. I also learnt Spanish, which I am happy to teach to any child who would want to learn! This was a fulfilling experience for both me and the little girl and so I am eager to do something similar again.
In March 2019, I became an Au Pair for two girls (ages 6 and 8) in Melbourne, Australia. I took them to and from school, made their packed lunches, cooked them breakfast and dinner, took them to after school activities, helped with homework and most of all, had lots of fun! We often went to the beach, to cafes for iced chocolates and played lots games at home. The girls quickly became like little sisters to me and, whilst I was only meant to stay for 3 months, I ended up staying for 8!
After returning from my travels, I tutored a 15 year old in preparation for his English GCSE. We review topics learnt in class, work through activities and do revision sessions. I am happy to help with any homework / tutoring that your children may need.
