Hello,
My name is Jessica Cooke, I am currently 22 years old and I live in Cheveley.
I have been driving for a few years and have a full, clean license. I own a five door corsa.
My primary occupation is in animal care, for a kids farm park in soham. However I have a great passion for children too and would love to have the chance to help out a family who needs it.
** I am currently furloughed due to the virus, and starting to look as if I may have to be made redundant once furlough ends so am available full time, possibly permanently**
My Experience
Whilst I do not have any professional childcare qualifications or experience, I do have plenty of experience in looking after children or varied ages for family and friends.
This includes ages 3-13 without parents present.
However I also have some experience with newborns. I have a little brother who was born when I was 9 and two twin sisters, born when I was 13. All of whom I helped out with.
I also have a little cousin who was born in 2018 and a very close friend with 3 babies aged newborn-2.5yo who I've had my fair share of cuddles and nappy changes with!
** Please note I do not currently hold an up to date paediatric first aid **
My Qualifications
I have 5 GCSES graded B as well as 1 C, 1 merit (health and social care) and 1 distinction (pe).
I also have a level 3 extended diploma in animal management which I finished in 2015.
And finally an NVQ level 2 diploma in work based racehorse care (breeding option).
My Availability
** I am currently at home on furlough so am free most days and times-it is also starting to look like I won't be able to return to my usual job due to money issues, so may also be available permanently**
I currently work a full time job 8:30-3:30 on weekdays.
So generally speaking, I'm available 3:30 onwards in the evenings, or weekends if planned in advance.
