About Me
I love working in childcare and through my previous employment as a full-time registered children's nanny and as a bank healthcare assistant at the NNUH I have gained many useful skills that I have found beneficial in my work with children.
I have 8 years experience working in childcare professionally and many more as a mum, raising my own family. I have three grown children and five grand daughters ages 18 months, 3, 4 & 5. I am a hands on grandma & have helped out with all of them, when their mum's have gone back to work. I currently have my youngest two 4 days a week, this is reducing to 2 days from September as they are going to nursery an extra day.
Before helping my kids out with the children I always worked full time, a few years as an Ofsted registered nanny/housekeeper & many more self employed nannying. I have continued to offer ad-hoc childcare and have families that I've been part of since their children were new born.
My Experience
In my work as a nanny I have cared for children from newborn up to 15 years, I am happy to work with children of any age.
I have past experience of working at my kid's local school as a parent helper and at the Norfolk and Norwich hospital as a healthcare assistant and spent time working on Buxton children's ward and the maternity ward. I have also worked for home start as a volunteer assisting families with their children.
My Qualifications
I completed the relevant training as part of my Ofsted certification
My Availability
I am currently available for evening & weekend childcare.
From September I will have more availability & can offer childcare on Monday, Wednesday & Thursday
