About Me
I live in hanham with my husband and 3 children.
I offer a home from home environment. My parents also live with us in an annex in the garden which the children all love.
My son suffers with severe nut allergy so I have experience dealing with this.
I love being outside and I feel this is where the children learn the best. We go on lots of adventures around our local area and
out on lots of trips to local parks, farms, library, soft play, Bristol water front, Bristol museum, forest school, river walks, we the curious, SS Great Britain, trips on the train and lots more.
My Experience
I have worked in childcare all of my working life and have 25 years experience. I have an NNEB diploma in childcare plus paediatric first aid.

I can’t begin to describe how thankful we are that we found Meg. I was so anxious about going back to work and having to leave my one year old with someone else but Meg made the whole transition so easy for us and my baby boy. I would not have believed it was possible but there were never any tears even in the early drop off days!
Meg clearly has a wealth of experience in caring for children. She is incredibly loving and a total natural with babies and young children- it really does feel like we are leaving our son with a member of the family. He has settled so well with Meg and gets so excited on the days that he is with her- they are always out doing something fun- mostly in the outdoors which he loves. He also gets to mix with a range of age groups which has been great for his development. We will without a doubt be sending any future babies to Meg and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a warm, loving and safe environment for their children.

Meg has looked after 2 of my children over the last 4 years and will be minding my third once i go back to work. She has been a fantastic childminder to us, she treats the children as her own and they have a fantastic bond with her and her family. My little girl loves spending time at megs and enjoys the trips to the library, soft play and parks etc. Meg is reliable, loving and trusting and works hard everyday to make sure the children are having fun, I would recommend her to anybody!

Meg has looked after my son for 3 years, since he was only 1 year old, and I feel so grateful to have found a childminder like Meg.
She has always been so kind and loving to my son she really has been like a second mother to him. Not only that, but the friendships my son has formed with the other children in her setting, including her own children, have really contributed to his development and happiness. He loves Meg totally and has ever had a so much as a wobble about going to her. In fact, my older son has always felt a little jealous that he was never minded by Meg!
I cannot recommend Meg highly enough and I know that, if he could only type, my son would say the same!
Anyone who manages to secure Meg's services as a childminder has truly hit the jackpot.
