About Me
My name is Carley Honey, welcome to 'The Hive' childcare, I live in the Elm Park/Hornchurch
area, I have 3 children, two of which live with me and my Husband.
Our youngest attends our local primary school. One son attends college and my eldest son has flown from the Honey Hive and blessed us with 2 grandchildren.
My Experience
I have worked in Early Years and Education for many years with a wealth of experience caring for children from birth and beyond for over 18 years, my role has been managing childcare settings and Head Teacher of Early years.
My Qualifications
BA Degree in early childhood studies.
Foundation Degree in early years
Early Years Professional Status
Level 4 in children’s learning and development
NNEB Diploma in nursery nursing
I hold an up to date paediatric first aid certificate
And up to date child protection training.
My Availability
Full day places.
Our day begins at 8:00 AM and finishes at 5:00 PM – I can be flexible with early drop off or later collection, please contact for terms and conditions.
Open all year except closure between Christmas and new year.

I come across Carley’s profile and as soon as we met I knew she was the right childminder for us. The hive set up is amazing and my children love going, the updates of there activities and regular pictures of the children doing activities is a lovely little touch. Carley herself is extremely kind, very friendly and extremely professional, the pandemic hasn't been easy on anyone but Carley has gone above and beyond to keep us parents updated and made where possible accommodations for the children during the pandemic.
