About Me
My name is Clare. Also known by many families as "Clarey". I live in the beautiful village of Batheaston with my husband, and a lovely 9 year old old little boy. I also have two grown up sons. We also have 2 very friendly dogs.
I have been a childminder for over 29 years, and I thoroughly enjoy my role, i have an assistant who works along side me for 2 days a week, she is a qualified Norland Nanny and has previously been a Childminder. I
achieved ‘Good’ from Ofsted and have excellent references. I love the outdoors, baking, being social, being creative, we are a blended setting taking snippets from Montessori, Reggio, curiosity approach. The best thing of all is seeing how the children grow and flourish into wonderful kind little humans ..... My whole ethos on being a childminder is for the children I look after to feel secure and loved in a very much enriched homely environment.
My Experience
I have over 30 years experience in childcare and 29 years experience with my own children. I have also worked as a teaching assistant at our local school, as well as four years as a nanny, I feel very passionate about my role and giving children the best start in early years.
My Qualifications
I am qualified advanced pediatric first aider, cache level 3 in childcare, Food hygiene, Healthy early years, observation and planning course as well as numerous other courses. Ofsted registered
Excellent references.
My Availability
I work Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday term time only 9-5
Additional hours can be arranged
I am also available for Ad Hoc childcare on Fridays and weekends including over night care

My Fees
- Childminding from £13.00 per hour
- Babysitting from £18.00 per hour
Childminding fees are £90 per day 9-5 or 9-3 £75 term time only
Ad hoc care is £20 per hour
Babysitting fees are £18.00 per hr minimum 3hr fee.

My little 11-month-old has been with Clare and her husband Dan since she was 5 months old. She has had the most amazing start to her little life being cared for in a professional, loving and stimulating environment.
We are so sad to be leaving this child-minder and their lovely home. Any child would be lucky to have such an inspirational start to their 'home away from home' life. We will miss you Clarey and Dan Dan.
