About Me
I am looking for a personal Assistant (pa) for my teenage daughter who is 15 years old and born with downs syndrome and attends Alderman Knight school. This post is to aid with her independence and socialising, she attends drama and theatre on a Monday during term time and attends summer projects, she loves the arts and outdoor events, photography and music and I am keen on her developing her social independence and creative skill in preparation for college in September 2023 There is no requirement to have any specific qualifications but would be favoured, a full DBS and references would be favoured. working with young people is helpful if you have an NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care, as this demonstrates competence to deliver a quality standard of care. My Requirements
you would have your DBS certificate and ideally be free a couple a hours in the evenings and sometime after school, and during half-term plus some Saturdays evenings.
