About Me
l love kids. I love their creativity and passion for everything new and exciting. Originally from Australia, I've made Ballycastle my home. I'm married and have a beautiful four year old boy called Aaron. I love the outdoors, cooking, music, art, languages and gardening.
My Experience
I've been working with children in one way or another for over twenty-five years. I'm a qualified teacher and have worked in schools in Australia and Northern Ireland for over twenty years. I've taught music, primary and immersion Gaeilge to children from 2-13 years old. The last school I taught in was Gaelscoil an Chaistil in Ballycastle. I also worked with the two to three year olds in the Naíscoil (Nursery). I offer bilingual childcare supporting children who attend the local Gaelscoil and for families who want their children to be more aware of the cultural diversity around them.
My Qualifications
Bachelor of Education, Masters of Education - Immersion Education (on going), Sure Start Two Year Old Program, Paediatric First Aid, Safeguarding Children and Health and Safety.
