About Me
I have worked for Maxilla Nursery as a nursery officer/family support worker for the last 13 years. We have recently been made redundant and I am now looking forward in using my skills and experiences in new working environment.
My Experience
I have over 20 years experience in working with children from newborn to 6 years old. I am experienced and able to create and plan various stimulating learning activities for all children with various learning abilities. I have expertise experience in running a drop in and creches. I was a key member of starting the Early Years in Maxilla Nursery, which was highly successful and was rated by Ofsted as ‘Outstanding’ both in 2013 and 2014. During my time in Maxilla I supported and worked with families with children that had speech delay. I am experienced in organising differentiated learning activities to help support EAL children with their learning.
My Qualifications
2014 – Paediatric First Aid course (Industrial Safety Training Service)
2008 – NVQ Level 3 in Children’s Care, Learning and Development
(1984-1985) – Y.T.S. Scheme Childcare course
(1979-1984) - GCSE: Maths, Science and English
My Availability
I am able to work between 9am - 3pm Monday to Friday. If needed I can work 2 days after school up until 5pm.
