About Me
I live with my family - Husband, and son and daughter off the Gamesley estate Glossop. We live in an old converted farm house which has a large garden and fields at the back of the house. My daughter and my son are both In their 20s and both have there own jobs
I like to try and stay fit and go swimming regularly and also I achieved my black belt in martial arts in 2010. I don't do this much now due to some changes in circumstances. I have also recently taken up Climbing and go to a Climbing wall in Stockport twice a week with my son and husband.
My Experience
I have been minding children since 2002 and have looked after children aged from 0 - 12.
Some of the children have been with me since they were very young and I still keep in contact with the families who are no longer with me.
I no longer look after children of school age as I have found that my main area is for children of 5 years and under.
I have followed the development of the children through from when they start with me and some have come to me who have needed help in some areas of there development which I have been able to help them with such as speech.
I love to take the children out for walks most days. I encourage them to enjoy the surroundings and natural areas we live in.
I like to teach children to be independent and help them to do things for themselves so they are ready for school.

I have an NVQ 3 in childcare and also have all the relevant childcare qualifications such as -

My Availability
I am available Monday to Friday. 7.30 am till 5.00pm. school drop off and pick up only if I am caring for a younger sibling. (At present I do not have any spaces available.)

My Fees

I charge set fees of -
£6 per hour up to 6 hours. Then the full day charge of £40.00

My son was 3 months old when he first started at Marie’s (he’s now 4 and done 5 days a week the majority of that time) and he’s thrived while being in Marie’s care. I’ve had a few nursery’s and childminders for all my children and Marie is by far the best one, there’s no one I would recommend more.
