About Me
Hello,
My name is Kirsty and I am the founder of Ladybird Lane. After studying at college for 3 years to obtain my level 3 qualification in Child care, I began working in a nursery from the age of 19.
Working in this industry for 16 years has given me an insight into the care of children. In many child care establishments, there is always a professional boundary that inhibits the development of a bond with the children you work with.
This is why I created Ladybird Lane to provide a home-from-home setting that allows each child to have individualised, personalised and specialised care to aid their growth and development during their younger years.
Diana joined me 7 years ago and we co-work with all the children. We continue to offer individual care for each and every children. The children all have a key worker to fill all paperwork but overall we both know all the children well and you will get to see us both.
My Experience
I trained for 3 years at Northampton college and over the years had experience in 8 different placements with a range of age groups.
I worked in a nursery setting for over 7 years, being basis in the baby room for several years and spending time covering in the other rooms up to pre-school age. I moved into the toddler room (18 months-2 and a half years) in September. Leaving to set up my business in December 2015.

My Availability

We currently have full time available Monday to Friday 8-5pm for children under 5.
We also have availability for school holiday cover for children over 5.
Unfortunately we DO NOT offer before and after school cover or a school run.

My Fees
- Childminding from £6.00 per hour
- Babysitting from £11.00 per hour
opening from 8am-5.00pm Monday to Friday.
£6.00 per hour and can be flexible around our routine.
I will be open all year around. Our holiday is given out at the beginning of each year.

Kirsty has been absolutely amazing in caring for my little boy. I was really anxious about going back to work but knowing she is looking after him has made it so much easier. He absolutely adores her and they have so much fun, always trying new things and learning new skills. The facilities and the 3 playrooms she has are excellent, you couldn't ask for a better environment for your little one to learn and develop in. She structures activities and works with the OFstead curriculum, feeds back to me all the time and arranges parents evenings. She provides an excellent home from home menu which changes every month and my little one loves it. She provides completely individualised holistic care and her experience is evident to see. I would recommend Kirsty 100%, there's no one else I would rather look after my little boy.
